This was the first group trip I did and it was so nice that I definitely want to do more tours. I am 18 and I left for Indonesia on my own. from the moment I booked the tour I received a lot of information about the trip and everything you need to prepare, take with you and much more. I also immediately received 2 e-mails from my tour leader: Rianna (who is an amazing tour leader and person). Even before the tour started, she made contact with the group and during the tour she made sure everyone was having a good time. the area that you get to see during this trip is so beautiful and the people are super nice. it has now been 2 months since I did this tour and I am still thinking about the things I have seen and experienced. I miss it very much I can't wait to go back and see even more of Indonesia. I also want to go back to Lombok because that is a very beautiful island. I would even do the life abroad boat again even though you roll up and down the boat while sleeping because of the sea. thankyou Rianna!

Just finished tour and had the most amazing time ever. Could not sing both Ri and Lees praises enough. The trip was well planned and organised, with everything running smoothly. Great mix of activities for both during the day and nighttime. It had a great balance of the more cultural activities combined with some fun nights out.
They listen to the groups needs including budget requirements, food cravings etc. Great at recommending the best dishes at restaurants or which market to go to in order to snap up a good bargain. So happy I booked with Tru and will defiantly be using the company again. As a solo female traveller I always felt safe and well looked after and made some amazing friends! Also help out with onwards travels after the trip so assured you know what you are doing.

this whole tour had been incredible. Since day one I felt so so safe, Bali was so fun - the activities were all amazing!! Surfing and snorkelling were 100% the best ones! gili T was a beautiful island, with so so many lovely locals and VERY fun nights out in the famous jiggys!!! Then going over to Lombok was such a different experience, so much interesting culture and fun nights out! lombok is also so so scenic and beautiful. One of the most amazing places I have seen!!
Then the whole Komodo trip I was speechless! Every single thing about this tour blew my mind! i have never ever seen anything like any of the sights you get to see on this part of the tour. All the viewpoints/ the manta rays (which we got so so close too) and the komodo dragons!!!
Living on the boat was amazing, sleepingg under stars and watching the sun go down each night was amazing!! Drew our leader has been so helpful/friendly and fun constantly!!!

An incredible 18-day journey packed with so much that its hard to summarise! We had a fantastic group with all different kinds of people, and that nearly made the trip by itself. I had come for the Komodo Dragons, and the rest of the tour was originally just an afterthought, but everything else we did was handled so well and delivered with such infectious enthusiasm and cool nerves that by the end, Rinca and Komodo were just one of many awesome experiences I will take with me forever. The staff were just as interested in getting us to have fun together as they were in fulfilling the itinerary. Where possible, the accommodation was great, better than I expected. This trip did have its rough moments, but part of the experience for me was to get out into the real wild frontier, and we certainly did that. Recommend to anyone with a high sense of adventure who wants to see something most tourists never do.
