10 Day Philippines West

Philippines West Tour was easily one of the best travel experiences I have had. We had an amazing group of people and a fantastic leader in Justin. We all bonded and became very close through the various group activities. Justin was informative and fun. He always had the tunes going and a great attitude, I honestly don't know how he does it. The man doesn't sleep and he always watched out for our safety, which was especially important considering the fact we were majority female. He is like a brother to the group and always brought with him so much positivity, you could not help but have the best time!

I particularly enjoyed the zip lining, ship wreck and dancing the nights away with a bunch of amazing people! I also usually hate cooking but making the collective dinner at Castaways was a real treat and certainly helped that Justin a chef; he was very encouraging.

I would highly recommend this tour to others looking to travel and meet great people. This was a trip full of long life friendships and unforgettable memories! I am coming home relaxed, tanned and full of cherished memories with fantastic friends. It was everything I expected and more.

The Philippines west tour was my 5th tour with TruTravels and it definitely won't be my last. It was so much fun exploring the beautiful waters of the Philippines with snorkeling trips, getting to see a WW2 shipwreck and even some turtles!

Being on your own private island for 3 days was amazing to disconnect from the world and enjoy the simple life with the rest of the group. My personal highlights were the kayaking into small lagoon in El Nido, Port Barton, ziplining between two Islands which was unreal and perfect for adrenaline junkies. We also visited Culion Island and had a private tour of the island by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Pastor. We got to learn about the history of leprosy and met some locals who told us about the stigma which no longer exists. This was something I was completely unaware of before the trip and added a good mix of history and culture.

Our Tour guides Justin and Fretchie were incredible throughout the tour. They were super organized, made everyone feel so comfortable and they were always up for a good time. Fretchie would always be telling us the history of the places we visited which gave us a lot of cultural insight to the places we visited.

I honestly can't give them both enough credit for making this a trip to remember. I loved it so much I extended onto the Philippines East Tour. Which Justin organized for me! Thank you so much guys I hope to see on another Tru Tour soon!!

I just finished the Philippines west tour, this was my first tour I have ever done and TruTravels nailed it!! The places we visited were insane and so picturesque and I loved every bit of it!! The tour guides were nothing short of amazing... So organized but so relaxed at the same time. And constantly in the best mood and ready to help at anytime.

Huge thank you to Justin and Fretchie for making it the funnest, easiest trip for us travelers and I honestly could not have asked for a better bunch of girls to experience all these beautiful places with. We were so lucky to experience the Castaway on Coron Island and have that private beach all to ourselves fora whole two nights!! I would highly recommend this trip to any solo traveler/ Couple or group of any age. Thank you guys you rock!!! <3 Layne

I just finished the Philippines West Tour. This tour has been a once in lifetime experience. The activities, the people and our guide Justin all had a massive impact on making this experience the best it could be. Could not fault any of the accommodations and activities, each which brought a whole new insight into another world - whether that would be underwater exploring or visiting and learning of the people that live on respective islands. Especially the fishing village in Port Barton and the Coron Castaway experience!! Justin was a great tour guide - he was friendly and inclusive feeling like a member of the group, while also being informative and reliable. I always felt safe even when some men in coron made the girls feel uncomfortable, I could not fault Justin or the tour at all!! I would 100% recommend people to use TruTravels!!

I just finished the Philippines West tour and it was by far the best experience of my life. I was very lucky to have one of the best tour guides in the TruFam Justin Saunders. My Highlights included snorkeling in Port Barton, the small lagoon in El Nido and chilling with new fiends on some incredible beaches. The tour was full of things to do and see everyday. The Coron Castaway experience was by far my favorite part as it was a real insight into other peoples way of life. It was fascinating to learn of the Spanish culture which gave me a better insight. This adventure has been a once in a lifetime chance and I am so privileged that I could spend it with a fantastic group and a even better tour guide. Justin is amazing and will keep on bringing joy to customers and those he comes into contact with in life. I can't wait for more adventures! Just Go!!

Start with the good stuff then, saw alot and trip built up nicely, every day better than the previous day. Sights are truly amazing and its dificult to select what photos are better. Food was generally good and the places we ate at very good. The pizza in El Nido was insane... Really enjoyed the lagoons in Coron, really breathtaking. Phillipino people are amaxing as well, I have never seen so many happy kids on a trip.
Nacpan beach was also amazing and loved every minute of it. Warm but so worth it. So many positives....

BUT, you can do with the following improvements, more detailed intenary, better accomodation like working showers. The day out to see the lepar colony was not great. Other that that i can fault much, overall good value for money.

I loved this trip !! The boat trips were amazing and the guides were great. Accommodation was lovely especially in Manila and El Nido was good ! (Apart from the cold showers) the cast away experience was really good and the local people there were great hosts! I did unfortunately get ill during this time which wasn’t great timing being away from a western toilet and running water However Amer made me feel safe and in good company ! He was amazing when I was unwell and had to go to hospital. Luckily I was fine however if there was a more serious issue, and someone had to leave the island immediately, something should be in place in case this happens. Overall the Philippines was beautiful and I really enjoyed my trip! Would 100% recommend to my friends.

Our days were jam packed full of amazing adventures with amazing people. It is crazy to think 10 days ago I didn't know anyone on this tour (other than the two I came with) and within that time they have all become like family to me.

The tour guides were super welcoming and helpful. Their passion for their work shines through them and radiates a positive outlook on the whole group. The bars and restaurants that Justin and Fretchie took us to were great, we were always eating the best food and sipping on the strongest cocktails.

The Philippines is beautiful, the culture is beautiful and so are the people. I will definitely be back, thank you for having me. Until Next time, on the east side :) xxxx
