10 Day Philippines West

Being my first extended overseas trip, I was skeptical coming into it but our guides Justin and Fretchie were amazing - so knowledgeable and helpful, friendly and bubbly!! Accommodation was fantastic but the highlights were of course all the amazing activities TruTravels had lined up for us!! My favorites were the Zip lining and the Port Barton Island Hopping. We saw the most amazing sea life including a turtle which was beautiful. Our tour guides had planned out all of our dinner destinations and none of them disappointed... and I’m a big foodie so that’s saying something!I'll definitely be back for more and could not recommend the Philippines West Tour more!! Thank you TruTravels for such an amazing trip and for memories that will last a life time!

My overall experience was amazing. The activities that we did and the places we got to go to were better than I ever imagined. The group I was with were great, all different ages and had different personalities, but we all got on like a house on fire!
Traveling as a couple you get worried you won’t be part of the group as much. That was not the case at all. Everyone is so welcoming and the tour guides really make an effort with each and every one of you. There isn’t any part of my trip that I didn’t enjoy!
However what really made the trip was the tour guides Justin and Jason. Always answering the 100 questions I would ask, always super helpful, positive and overall lovely! They both made an extra effort birthday by getting a huge cake delivered for the El Nido Island Hopping and made it a fantastic day. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, only wished I was doing the full 19 days!!! Best 10 days ever. This my third TruTravels tour and it did not disappoint!!

Justin was my favorite part of this trip, he is super organized and professional and experienced. He always made everyone comfortable and has the patience of a saint. I could not recommend him and the tour enough. He is extremely caring and attentive to everyone's needs and made the whole 10 days stress free. I loved every excursion and visiting certain places really seemed to see real Filipino life. From my first night to my last night both Justin and Jason have been incredible. Both extremely knowledgeable about the Philippines and engaged us to learn more (eating with our hands haha) The trip has allowed me to learn about the Philippines in both commercial cities and local life. Everyday was different from snorkeling/ waterfalls to visiting local families. Philippines is by far my favorite in the world simply because of this trip. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I am a Thai girl, living in the the country full of well known culture and beautiful nature, Thailand. I love snorkeling and try new things&vibes, specially foods!. I have been traveling more than 45 provinces around Thailand and tried every Thai foods I can, take lots lots of pictures that I never counted how much, till one day I decided to explore somewhere I had never been in South East Asia! Philippine is one of best country in my bucket list! My dream come true when my feets touch Philippines land 🇵🇭... So excited in every minute! First of all their English skills in general are better than mine lol. Oh oh it is so easy easy for everyone! They just open their country for tourism so I can say, I was so lucky that now everything hasn't been changed. It looks like Thailand in 20-30 years ago that nature is still completely beautiful and not too busy. Everything in the tour was well organized. All of us love each other and get along too well😂... We all had a good time. The weather is sunny and not too hot, no humidity. I am so brown now😂. I love every beaches where we had been. Christal clear water and coral leaf are unreal. The highlight of the tour is Red Carabao Beach, OH My Buddha, It is stunning. We were staying in the beach huts that mad of me feel like bamboo and woods. We had seen Platon on the sand in the night. A billion stars on the sky, listen to the noise of wave when laying on Hammock. I like Phillipines pp and felt safe like at home 😍😍😍... So sad that it was only 10 days there. Will go back for sure! 😘

Wow where to start! This trip has been life changing no word of a lie! Not only was it perfectly planned and ran so smoothly but it was also allowed me to see the best parts of Palawan.

We got to full immerse ourselves into Tru Filipino culture right from the start!! Our first stop was Port Barton where we did some incredible island hopping, swam with turtles, had lunch with a local fishing village spent the day with the locals playing basketball. Oh and the food we had was out of this world!!

We then headed to one of the most sort after destinations in the world El Nido The island hopping and snorkeling there was incomparable to anything I have ever had the pleasure of doing!! The lagoons and reefs Truly are what everyone says they are!!

To finish the trip off we did what I consider the highlight of the tour!! 3 days and 2 night spent on our own private beach at Camp Carabao on Coron Island!! I feel my words will only let this place down. But to get the opportunity to no see but live with the local tribes on the island is a memory I will never forget! I have never seen a more picturesque location nor met such lovely people in my life. The sunsets were the most intensely beautiful sunsets I could imagine! The day trips were phenomenal! And the night sky's where like actually being in out space itself there were so many stars.

A huge, huge, huge thank you to Try Travels and our incredible guide Dan for the trip of a lifetime!! I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone in seek of the Tru wanderlust.

Shout outs to Tru Travels for an amazing experience, this company is next level when it comes to value for money, experiences, sights and most of all guides! Massive props to my Bois Dean, Jason and Amer for making my time in the Philippines and unforgettable time, they were all insightful, helpful and made sure the party was always happening! I got to see so many cool things and the best part was I didn't have to organise anything, in fact Jason was my own personal alarm clock if that isn't quality service I don't know what is! My personal favorite activity on this trip was the castle like church, it was made hundreds of years ago and has so much amazing history about it, the architecture was superb and spires we're pristine, and the church choir was incredible, plus I got to be blessed by the priest! Do this tour you won't regret it, you WILL have the time of your life! Much love
