About Program

Aces Wildlife Rescue is a non-profit organization permitted by the Belize Forest Department dedicated to the conservation and protection of Belize's native wildlife and their critical habitats.

We are the only wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility for the cayes of Northern Belize adept at handling an array of wildlife while specializing in bird and reptile rehabilitation.

Throughout the year our team provides 24/7 emergency response to injured, ill, orphaned or displaced wildlife on Ambergris Caye, and when possible our neighboring island Caye Caulker. With the rapid tourism development and unrestricted habitat loss, each animal we can save, rehabilitate, and release, could be vitally important to their species now, or in the future.

Aces team also responds to calls of human-wildlife conflict, particularly with American Crocodiles, and assists residents in finding long-term coexistence methods achieved through scientific research, community outreach, and education.
