About Program
GIVE VIP is an exclusive series of immersive, ethically-run adventures created for past GIVE volunteers. These trips offer:
• Ethical & immersive experiences: just like all GIVE trips, every part of this journey supports local communities and sustainable tourism.
• More freedom to roam: a less structured itinerary with time to immerse yourself in the local art, culture, history, and nightlife.
• Same GIVE soul: be surrounded by the intentional, like-minded, and inspiring GIVE community you know and love.
• A trailblazing path: be among the first to shape GIVE’s newest travel chapter.
This year’s GIVE VIP group traveled to Cuba to explore Havana, Trinidad, and Viñales—complete with salsa dancing classes, snorkeling in the Bay of Pigs, hands-on exploration of tobacco and coffee plantations, and cooking authentic Cuban dishes with local families.
Program Highlights
- Wander Havana’s colorful streets while diving into Cuba’s art, music, and local culture.
- Salsa dance like the locals, roll cigars, and cook authentic Cuban meals alongside local experts.
- Snorkel in the Bay of Pigs and discover Cuba’s rich biodiversity.
- Journey through Cuba’s history, visit the Che Guevara Memorial, and take a walking tour of Trinidad’s UNESCO-listed colonial streets.

Mindful Tourism + Community Partnership = Economic Growth & Community Empowerment.
Part of what makes GIVE trips so special is being fully immersed in the cultures and communities we visit. However, we take extra steps to ensure we minimize our influence and always respect local cultures. We prepare all participants before travel and ensure they understand the culture and how to dress appropriately.
