About Program

The mission of Ahanta Eco Action is to develop sustainable solutions to stop plastics from reaching our beaches, polluting our environment as well as changing the perception about plastic waste, from waste to resource.

Plastic pollution has become a huge global challenge and the first step in our process is to collect plastics and turn them into something useful. Recycling has been one of the best methods to tackle plastic pollution. As an organisation, we have put in much effort to come up with initiatives to ensure that our goal is achieved. Volunteers on this project will plays roles such as beach cleanups, community sensitization, educating school pupils on climate change and recycling, helping with operations at the recycling facility and also coordinating buy-back programs.
