Construction and Renovation Volunteering Opportunities in Ghana
- Ghana
- Accra
- Cape Coast
About Program
This program focuses on the construction and renovation of orphanages, clinics, schools, toilet facilities, libraries, community centers etc. This is an ideal project for short-term volunteers, no skills are required and you can make a significant contribution even if you are only staying a week. Volunteers also have the opportunity to meet community elders and learn about the various cultures of the different communities through drumming.
Volunteers work closely with local people and St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation staff on tasks that include painting, bricklaying, block shaping, carpentry, steel bending, plastering, mortar mixing etc in various rural communities of Ghana. Most participants see this as an adventure or a work camp. Volunteers will help improve infrastructure throughout communities, community centers, and schools.
