About Program
Books open minds, and vibrant spaces bring stories to life. This summer, join a team of dedicated volunteers to revitalize GHEI’s community library in rural Ghana. Together, we’ll make the space more welcoming, functional, and inspiring for young readers.
Location: Humjibre, Northern Region, Ghana
Commitment: 2-week session | June 24 – July 8, 2026
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Organize and categorize books
Lead engaging literacy activities with children
Enhance the library space with thoughtful additions such as mats, signage, and displays
Impact:
Help build a space where children feel excited to read, learn, and grow.
