Health Care Volunteer Program In Ghana

The following is based on using the 4-week program fee as an example.

All programs require a US $165 registration fee. The registration fee has many purposes. It covers the volunteers’ pre-departure support and administration to ensure they are set up at a safe and credible place abroad, and that they are well prepared for their journey. It also covers advertisements, project visits, as well as overall quality control as AIAV never stops checking up on its volunteers’ well-being and projects’ conditions.


The project fee of US $510 includes in-country administrative work, airport pickup/drop-off, orientation, housing, 3 meals a day, phone and visitation costs for the in-country coordinators to ensure regular checkups on you for your safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

You will be responsible for your own airfare, travel insurance, vaccination fees, free time travel expenses, snacks, and souvenirs.
