About Program
Italy is currently hosting 175,000 refugees. A daily average of 600 men, women and children arrive to Italy having made the treacherous journey across the Mediterranean Sea from Libya, North Africa.
Help Refugees are supporting our local partners who strive to build community resilience and cultivate refugee’s emotional strength; these organisations compassionately support refugees as they take on the bureaucratic nightmare that is Italy’s migrant response.
Whether creating integration pathways by digging vegetable allotments, facilitating IT classes or organising trips to Rome’s Colosseum, through supporting our partners, we aim to equip refugees with the tools to enable them to build relationships and empower them to navigate life in Italy.
