Response from The Excellence Center
Greetings Lamiha
I can imagine how challenging it must have been to face intimidation and racism at the Israeli border control, but I'm glad that your experience in Palestine turned out to be incredibly positive. The kindness and generosity of the Palestinian people made a significant impact on you, and it's heartwarming to hear about the many instances where they went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming.
The Excellence Center provided you with an exceptional learning environment, and your Arabic teacher, Mariam, demonstrated kindness and patience. It's great that the center organized insightful trips and that you had the flexibility to plan your own activities. Getting around Hebron was easy, and the affordability and variety of food options added to your experience. Feeling safe while exploring Palestine is essential, and it's fantastic that the locals were willing to assist you, even with language barriers. We can't wait to have you again!
Much love from Palestine,
