About Program

Volunteer high up in the Andes, Peru, just a short bus ride away from the colourful and vibrant Cusco. Hidden amongst the mountains, cradling the Sacred Valley are impoverished remote villages. Here every house needs a sustainable, nutritious source of food. You will be working alongside each family to build a sustainable greenhouse and to sow their seeds that will feed them nutritious food for years to come! Other building activities may include the construction of a playground, which local children have never seen before! For your efforts you will receive Spanish lessons, Salsa classes, cooking classes and history lessons each day, helping you become part of the culture!

Bid farewell and bike ride down to the base of the mountains and visit an Inca ruins site. You will then trek your way to the Peruvian salt mines, zipline across valleys and through jungles, follow the Inca trail and end up at the magnificent Machu Picchu! You will also stay in the ancient Incan capital Cusco.

Yes, I recommend this program

Peru Adventure

Programme is well thought - nice balance of leisure and work.

Dislike the Spanish lessons straightaway after work (hrs of sweat with no change of clothes and had to sit through 3 hrs of lessons with no food) -- highlighted to Rachel and immediate solutions were implemented.

Amazon and Machu Picchu were amazing

Overall, pretty good !
