About Program
There are various ways to get involved with Agahozo-Shalom. We welcome volunteers from around the world and rely on support from dedicated volunteers in order to fulfill our mission of serving vulnerable teenage orphans in Rwanda. Volunteer opportunities include fundraising or collecting supplies in your local community, organizing a Service-Learning Trip for your college or community, or spending one year volunteering at Agahozo-Shalom as part of our Village Fellows program. Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
