About Program
This programme is suitable for someone with no background in wildlife research or management. You will be taught the basics and be given a deeper insight into conservation practices and management as part of this entry programme.
The programme introduces you to the many aspects of game reserve management. You will be involved in the practicalities of Big 5 monitoring, data collection and research, in addition to gaining exposure to wildlife management and ecology.
In addition to supporting research goals on the reserve, you will also engage in habitat and reserve management activities that are part of Thanda Safari’s ongoing conservation programmes. You will gain insight and understanding of all the challenges faced by our reserve management team.
