About Program
This project is located in the Great Karoo of South Africa, a landscape of immense plains and dramatic mountains and the home of many of Africa's iconic animals species.
The volunteer program offers you the opportunity to live and work on a 25.000 hectare reserve and to contribute to the ambitious conservation efforts of the reserve. The reserve is especially recognized for their research and conservation efforts for Vervet Monkeys, Cheetah and the illusive Aardvark. You will experience living close to nature, working with our local staff, tracking on foot, tel tracking cheetah and much more.
You will leave this project with a deeper understanding of the African bush, as well as with useful skills and techniques used in current scientific research, conservation and wildlife management. A great project for those to experience working in the bush with our rangers and get a feel about what being a safari ranger is all about.
