About Program
We are Zangarna Experience, a volunteer program based in the Waterberg reserve in South Africa. We are primarily student oriented, but generally anyone above 18 years of age can participate in our program. The program is available from October to April and consists in helping the lodge owners to maintain and keep it in good condition. It is very formative and a great experience for the participants.
We take 6 at a time, which makes the program even more immersive, and makes you create a true family. The program is divided into 3 categories: bush training, farm activities and ecological research. Notice that Zangarna has one of the widest range of bird species, you can't miss it!
On your weekends and days off, you'll enjoy extra activities that will make you feel like you're in a dream and bring you lots of adrenaline!
