About Program

We are a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation based close to Kruger Park in South Africa.

We are looking for volunteers to help out with all aspects of the day to day running of the wildlife sanctuary

We are the first and only primate rehabilitation centre in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa and as such our work focuses mainly on vervet monkeys. However we also have a wide range of other animals in the rehab centre at any one time. Previous success stories include antelope, warthog, birds of prey and small predators. We take in injured and orphaned wildlife with the aim to rehabilitation and release back into protected areas of the wild.

Volunteers may be involved in daily feeding routines, bottle feeding orphans, cage cleaning and maintenance and monitoring introductions.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly people who are happy to get involved with all aspects of work. No two days will be the same. Expect to be dirty and exhausted by the end of the day
