About Program
Volunteering with Familia Moja in Zanzibar provides you with an incredible opportunity to make a lasting difference and help shape the future of children who might otherwise not get and education, whilst getting to experience a unique culture on this beautiful, relaxing island!
We are sure you will have a wonderful experience which will be highly rewarding whilst volunteering with us – you’ll make memories that will last a lifetime.
There are opportunities for up to 5 volunteers to live and work at our project alongside 6 permanent staff (mainly local).
You must be at least 18 years old and willing to stay a minimum of 2 weeks – though we think you’ll want to stay longer.

Program Impact
We ensure that local children who would otherwise get no pre-school education get free education as well as 2 meals a day and free healthcare (medical, optical & dental)
