Food Insecurity is still a very big challenge to many homesteads in in Uganda especially in Masindi, this has been due to changing climate where people have not had food kept for their families especially in rural areas; This has not only led to food insecurity but also poor feeding, which has exposed many growing infants to malnutrition, poor health and so affected the poor people to leave in a sorry state where children die of illness. which can be avoided at the early stage
The organisation is looking for community focused volunteers who can help in scaling up initiatives which can reduce death within the communities, The activities include, community health outreaches, Teaching homesteads how to make Pam-gardens for going vegetation, construction of hand washing faculties at school, Teaching Child bearing mothers best practice for feeding during pregnancy and after birth.
