Australians are avid adventurers. When you move to Australia as an au pair you’ll find out exactly what makes Australians so passionate about their country and going on adventures.
Australia boasts a wide range of adventure activities – surfing, diving, hiking, off-roading, even skiing down snow-covered slopes!
The natural beauty is astounding. You can find breathtaking beaches, lush rainforests, harsh deserts, and snow-capped mountains for the full range of nature experiences.
This nature comes with wildlife found only in Australia – things like kangaroos, koalas, and wombats.
Then you have the warm year-round climate and friendly locals wrapped up in vibrant cities with modern infrastructure for a once-in-a-lifetime destination.
As an au pair you become part of your Australian family. Which means most of your cost of living is taken care of so your salary ($200 – $350 AUD a week) goes into your back pocket to fund your adventures.

Program Highlights
- Host family match. Match with your host family – which you’ve approved – before you leave home. You have access to the family profile and can even video call with them before you match.
- Pre-approved agreement. Once you’ve found your host family, you’ll have the chance to set up your agreement. This covers salary, duties, expectations, time-off etc. So you know exactly what you’re getting into before you leave.
- 5 nights hostel accommodation – on us. We want you to have the best time. So we’ve included 5 nights accommodation at a hostel anywhere in Australia. When you’re ready to explore on your time off, 5 nights of accommodation are covered.
- Online au pair course. Never been an au pair? No worries! This 4-hour interactive au pair course will teach you everything you need to know before you go. The rest of the learning can be done on the job because it’s specific to each family.
- Cash bonus. Successfully complete a 6-month contract with your host family and they’ll give you a $500 cash bonus for whatever you please. Nothing like some cash in your pocket to sweeten the deal.
