What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
One of the most nerve-wracking moments I faced during my gap year program with GoAbroadChina was my first day at the internship. Walking into a professional setting in a foreign country, with a new language and cultural norms, was intimidating. I was worried about making mistakes or not being able to communicate effectively.

What helped me overcome it was the incredible support system provided by GoAbroadChina. The program staff prepared me with cultural and professional tips during orientation, and my mentor at the internship was patient and encouraging. Taking deep breaths, staying open-minded, and reminding myself why I chose this program gave me the confidence to push through. By the end of the first week, I felt more comfortable, and that initial fear turned into excitement for the opportunities ahead.
Pros
  • Very Supportive Staff of GoAbroadChina
  • All in one package
  • Less husssle for everything
