About Program
Have a service adventure, panda expedition, or explore beyond the Great Wall on our programs to China.
Our adventure in the Far East will include visits to famous destinations such as the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Hong Kong Island.
For the service adventure, most of the trip will be spent in Shangri-La, known to locals as Zhongdian, where you will learn Mandarin and work with the ethnically Tibetan community. As you work on community-selected service projects, you'll also learn about Tibetan culture and form friendships with your neighbors. You'll also have the chance to explore the cities of Shanghai and Beijing as well as go hiking in Yangshuo. With this mix of adventure and meaningful community service, you'll have a life-changing experience you'll never forget.
