About Program

Our program is open to pre-med, medical, nursing, physiotherapy, and para-medical students from any part of the world. This is an exceptional opportunity to witness the healthcare system of a developing country and gain first-hand learning and practical experience. We offer medical internship projects throughout the year in India, Thailand, Nepal, and Peru, with durations ranging from 2 weeks to 6 months, providing flexibility for interns to choose a duration that suits them.

As an intern in the program, you will be placed in hospitals and clinics in rural, urban, or semi-urban areas, where you will assist medical professionals at your placement. Your primary responsibilities will include shadowing professionals and assisting them as required. If you are traveling in a group, we can also organize special health care/dental camps, which will enable you to serve more people.

Jaipur and Chiang Mai Medical Internships

I had an amazing experience with Volunteering Solutions’ medical programs in Jaipur, India and Chiang Mai, Thailand. In Jaipur, I had more hands-on opportunities and learned directly from healthcare professionals, while in Chiang Mai I gained valuable insight into hospital practices and cultural approaches to medicine. Both programs were well-organized, culturally immersive, and incredibly rewarding. I highly recommend Volunteering Solutions to anyone interested in medical volunteering abroad!
