Job Qualifications

  • Native English Speaker from UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa or New Zealand
  • Degree: BA or Above
  • Teaching related degree (majored in English, Education, English Literature, Creative Writing etc.); OR
  • 2 years teaching experience (with original reference letter from current/former employers); OR
  • Teaching certificate holder: TEFL/TESOL (at least 120 hrs), CELTA, DELTA, State teaching license, PGCE, QTS.

Job Description:

• English Oral/Literature Teacher
• Contract Length: 12-18 months starting ASAP
• Schedule: 5 working days weekly, 2 days off per week.
• Working Hours: There are around 35 hours weekly, no more than 25 teaching hours weekly.
• Students: aged from 3-12, small size class, small class size
• Classroom fully equipped with computer, projector, whiteboard, and microphone
• Curriculum and teaching materials provided
• Number of headcounts: 10

Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with all aspects of the U-Smart Education curriculum, the lesson flows, and the quiz schedules
• Complete end of term assessments that are personalized and constructive
• Access U-Smart Education resources and prepare lesson plans according to the objectives of the courses
• Deliver high quality courses to students including assigned tests
• Issue and explain homework assignments to students and parents
• Mark all tasks that students complete in class and for homework and fill out post-class comments
• Write student assessment reports with strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations
• Motivate the students and foster a love for english learning
