Job Qualifications

  • Educational Degree: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or other related field is required. Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
  • Experience: One-two years leadership experience and three years teaching in a professional child centered environment is required, preferably in an international setting. Knowledge of The Reggio Emilia Approach and Project Based Learning is preferred.
  • Skills: Must be able to work in a diverse team situation and supervising capacity. Must have excellent organization, communication, and writing skills.

Job Description

The curriculum coordinator will work as a classroom teacher, in addition to supporting teaching staff (teachers and teaching assistants) to refine their practices, improve instructional quality, and achieve mastery as early childhood professionals. The curriculum coordinator will have one day out of the classroom to perform additional duties and responsibilities.
