Panama's borders have reopened, and we're looking for an adventurous, fun, and creative early education teacher to join us!
If you believe in developing the whole child, love working with children aged 3 to 7, believe that life is an adventure, love nature, believe in the hidden potential of children, and want to try living in a tropical paradise, this position might be a great fit for you!
The position requires relocation to Panama. The rural location has been minimally affected by the pandemic so life is somewhat normal.
We use a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. The curriculum is provided, but the candidate must have experience being in a classroom and display familiarity with engaging children. The candidate must also have some basic familiarity teaching phonics to children.
The class size ranges from 4 to 8 children. Our school is focused on developing the whole child; academic as well as social and emotional well being.
The candidate must embrace positive discipline, be open-minded and willing to adapt and incorporate various learning tools, pay attention to the students' learning needs & interests, lead discussions, model a love of learning. The ideal candidate has experience working with projects, but not necessary.
Most importantly, the candidate must be willing to adjust to a new environment & culture (a slower pace of life) and enjoy nature (or learn to embrace it)
