Company Description

Arkon Education Group has been working in the educational sector of Tajikistan since 2012. Our organization hires teachers from all over the world to work at our schools in the main regional city of Khujand. We also have a small branch in the town of Konibodom in the north of Tajikistan, which is a 1.5-hour drive from Khujand. In Konibodom, we can only afford to hire volunteer due to lower client demand, so we welcome you to apply for this special and rewarding volunteer position at our most welcoming and cosy branch.

Job Description

We are seeking part-time volunteers to teach English and train our local teachers in Konibodom, in northern Tajikistan. The position is suitable for international volunteer teachers with or without experience who wish to make a positive contribution to Education in our peaceful, beautiful and friendly nation. The ideal candidate would be a motivated expert-user of English, who is keen, reliable and adaptable, to teach on a 12-month agreement in order to:
1. deliver intermediate to advanced English classes to our students so that in the long-term future, they will be able to become teachers and work for us when they graduate (approximately 15 hours per week)
2. train our local teachers to advanced level so that they can teach higher levels in future (approximately 5 hours per week)
