NeuroLink Education Ltd U.K. was founded in London, UK, advocating for neuroscience education. The brand name combines the words Neuro (brain neurons) and Link (connection), symbolizing the spirit of NeuroLink: reshaping brain learning power with positive emotions, infusing joyful experiences into the teaching system, connecting sensory memories, and making children fall in love with learning.

NeuroLink English Academy

NeuroLink Education Ltd has authorized the establishment of NeuroLink English Academy in Asia, promoting the use of neuroscience learning methods in a 100% foreign teacher teaching system. In 2015, it officially set up an office in Taipei, Taiwan, as the first stop in Asia, and carefully selected nine flagship partner schools in Asia in 2016.

With the support of NeuroLink Education Group in the UK, we have assembled a team of professionals from the UK, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, forming an education team named after Neuro (neurons) + Link (connection). We call it the "academy," which also represents our emphasis on and human psychological feelings. If education is a kind of integration, the integration of the academy brings together knowledge, the brain, psychology, and communication.

Our "neuroscience teaching" focuses on listening to children's voices, discovering their essence in the process of communication, and understanding the differences among individuals to determine the direction suitable for each child's learning and absorption. Years of teaching experience have shown us that when we are inclusive and sincere, standing in the child's perspective to empathize with them, we have the opportunity to reduce their resistance to English or rapidly enhance their enthusiasm for active learning, extend their concentration and endurance. In addition, when children feel more relaxed and at ease, their brain neurons are more likely to connect with English, developing a high-quality brain plasticity upgrade method and opening up a new path for Chinese-speaking learners.

NeuroLink English Academy in Taiwan

Having served as educators for nearly 20 years, we have experienced various stages of the education system and participated in children's changes and growth. During the years of learning with them, we often think about what kind of education can lead us and accompany children to go further and even to another level.

For a long time, Taiwan's education has mostly valued test scores over learning experience, often unconsciously neglecting learners' psychological aspects and personality traits. As a result, children may submit impressive results under pressure or anxiety, but later, when no one asks for them, they gradually abandon self-learning. However, this is not the original intention of NeuroLink; the famous British educator, Mr. Spencer, once said: "What is the purpose of education? The purpose of education is to be able to stop teaching one day!"

With the advent of the sliding generation and the information explosion era, NeuroLink English Academy believes that the old education thinking framework can no longer truly help children. How to use "neuroscience learning methods" to change learning power, create positive and proactive energy in considering children's physical and mental conditions and learning effects, and go further and longer on the long road of learning, is a new goal and the core focus of NeuroLink English Academy since 2016.
