The job opportunities we can provide are to teach in public and language schools in Taiwan. Since Taiwan is becoming a bilingual country by 2030 according to the government policy, we will need more overseas English teachers to create a better English learning environment. The teaching jobs are based on government-issued contracts and Labor Laws. The jobs require the teachers to do a lesson plan, design class activities, apply teaching aids, make assessments and evaluations of Taiwanese students’ English level and provide improvement suggestions. The teachers will work with local Taiwanese teachers to co-teaching for some subjects like arts, music, physical education, home economics, life orientation, science, etc. Basically, the courses are based on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) to help students apply English in the subjects they are learning. The jobs need sophisticated teaching skills, a creative mind, and good communication.

Job Description

We will need lots of ESL teachers to help us with English education.
We provide jobs in public schools and language schools and help teachers to relocate and start a new life career here. In Taiwan, you can explore many cultural differences and valuable experiences overseas and save a lot. <Courses>: Bilingual courses or CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) or STEM/STEAM
<Students Age Group>: G1-G12 (primary/junior high/senior high)
<Salary>: NT65,230~100,010 about USD 2140-3280 (based on experience and qualifications)
<Working hours>: Mon-Fri (morning to afternoon), 8-9 hours a day.
<Location>: Tainan / Hsinchu / Yunlin County Program / On-site teaching
<Classes>: 20-25 classes a week/one class of about 40-50 mins.
<Subjects>: music, art, performing art, physical education (sports), health education, outdoor activity, home economics, counseling, and others.
<Requirements>:
1. Write lesson plans.
2. Evaluate and assess students' English level and ability.
3. Develop and design engaging and enjoyable class activities.
4. Set and manage class order.
5. Be able to utilize and operate teaching media and teaching aids.
<Responsibilities>: Details will be stated in the contract.
1. Course design, teaching plans, study sheets, teaching aids, etc. production.
2. Accept the visit, observe, and discuss lessons and guidance.
3. Participate in the instruction and review of English competitions.
4. Participate in the teaching preparation discussion meeting.
<Qualification>:
1. Degree at least a bachelor's degree accredited by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan.
2. A teacher's license if teaching in public schools
3. Police clearance is valid for 6 months.
4. Other documents depend on cases/ welcome to email us for more information.
<Public school perks>:
1. Airfare reimbursement back and forth about NTD30000-40000 per trip
2. Rental/housing allowance per month of about NTD 5000-10000
3. Performance Incentives (maximum 1 month of payment)
