Founded in 2009, Real Education Academy / REA瑞德国际英语学校 is a well-established English training school located in Changsha, one of China’s most energetic, friendly and liveable cities.
Changsha is widely known in China as a popular destination for young people, food lovers and travellers. It is lively, safe, affordable and full of culture. The city has great food, riverside nightlife, shopping malls, mountains, parks, museums and a relaxed local atmosphere. It is also often recognised as one of China’s happiest cities.
Unlike Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Shenzhen, the cost of living in Changsha is much lower. Local people can live comfortably on an average monthly income of around USD 700–800. Since this position includes free accommodation and staff meals, foreign teachers can enjoy a good quality of life and still save a significant amount of money each month. For many teachers, saving USD 2,000 or more per month is very realistic depending on lifestyle.
REA is not a large chain school. We are a small, stable and professional school with a warm team culture. Our management style is flat and direct. Teachers are not treated like numbers. If problems arise, we solve them together through communication, trust and mutual understanding. Our local and international staff support each other both inside and outside the classroom.
What We Teach
We provide high-quality English courses for:

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Teach young learners, teenagers and adult students
Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group classes
Use provided teaching materials and lesson plans
Give students clear guidance, encouragement and feedback
Work with local teachers and academic staff to support student progress
Create a positive, engaging and professional classroom environment
Class Size
1-on-1 VIP classes
Small groups of 5–8 students
All teaching materials and training will be provided.
Working Hours
⏰ 5 working days per week
📅 2 days off per week
🕒 8 working hours per day, including office hours and teaching hours
The schedule includes teaching, preparation, training, student feedback and team communication.
Compensation & Benefits
💷 Monthly Salary: RMB 18,000–22,000 after tax
Approx. USD 2,500–3,000/month, depending on experience and qualifications
