The first phase of our school will consist of preschool classrooms (ages 3-5) in an English-immersion environment. Our school is located in a beautiful, renovated house that has been totally remodeled to fit the needs of young students who will actively participate in exploration and play as vehicles for students to construct an understanding of themselves and the world around them. We're centrally located to many areas of Vitória, at the base of the bridge to Vila Velha, Ilha do Boi and a short distance from Praia do Canto. Our school is full of unique details designed by local architect Fabiane Giestes.

As a lead teacher, you will have the opportunity to create and a lead a model classroom with a full complement of high-quality materials to facilitate active learning and lead a team of preschool teachers. We seek teachers who are continually growing intellectually and professionally. Our teachers collaborate to create a learning community focused on creating independent learners who have the critical thinking skills, initiative, persistence and experience to thrive.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Teaching certification
2+ years of teaching experience
Exceptional written and verbal English language communication skills
Significant experience developing integrated, inquiry-based, constructivist curricula
Familiarity with a wide range of teaching approaches and strategies
A deep understanding of child development
Skillful in the integration of one-to-one technology throughout the curricula
Must be a collaborative team player
Must possess a growth-mindset
