Amazing neighborhood - safe, lots of shops, close to the academic center, easy to get to transportation. CEA provided a lot of activities, including a pizza and gelato crawl, a yoga class, and a pasta making class. All were very fun (and free)! The trips they planned were also very organized. The staff was very helpful if you had questions. Transportation advice and other recommendations were great. Only tough thing was that the housing did not have air conditioning but we were provided with fans so we were able to make do. I would really recommend the art and archeology class. We got to see literally every historical monument and museum in Rome (entry tickets were included with the class). It was like having a private tour group for all of Rome for 3 weeks.

The CEA Study Abroad program in Rome is the perfect program to study abroad through. The course's academics are credible enough to earn credits towards degrees, while not overtaking the free time students have available while in Rome. The staff of CEA are extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful for any student who has questions and are all always looking out for each student, whether it's on the amazing program-organized trips or for daily life in the capital. Additionally, the staff made an effort to get to know each student during the trip, making it very easy for students to approach them with questions or concerns throughout the entire trip. Studying abroad with CEA gave me the best experience I could have asked for to spend the summer studying away from home.

I had a great time studying and staying in Rome. The program was a great opportunity to explore Rome and different cities including Florence and Capri during the trip as well. There were plenty of open weekends to travel on your own as well. I really enjoyed the classes I took: however, I did not like having tests and homework being pushed back a lot. I felt that everything piled up on the last week which made my trip end more stressfully. I also had some problems with housing that I do not think were resolved fast enough or even resolved at all. There was a week where we were not allowed to use one shower and bathroom at all and were only left with one bathtub for five people and it was over 90 degrees that week. Overall, the trip was good though!

I had a great time studying abroad with CEA in Rome. I have always wanted to study abroad and so I am truly grateful that I was able to make it a reality. I was able to meet some amazing people, eat a lot of amazing Italian food and enjoy traveling to other countries every weekend. I enjoyed the small class sizes since it made getting to know people within the program really easy. I do wish there were Italian students as well to really give that immersed, study abroad feel. The housing was great. I loved living in the Prati neighborhood. There was plenty of places to eat and great gelato on every corner. I felt safe throughout the entire experience in Rome. The staff and faculty were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Shoutout to my girl Cecilia for always having everything so organized and covered. Overall, it was a great experience that I'll never forget.

I am so happy I decided to study in Alicante with CEA. I liked that the size of the program was small, and we all got to know each other. I met five of my best friends in my CEA program, and I don't think that would have happened if I did not choose this small program. Though things weren't always perfect, like sickness and issues with out apartment, CEA staff was always there to help when something went wrong. Our two on-site advisors, Adriana and Alvaro, were always so helpful. Adriana became a good friend and kind of our mother figure while being abroad. There were so many programs to choose from, and I am definitely glad I chose this one. I do not think I would have gained everything I did out of my experience if I chose another program.

I can very easily say that studying abroad in the French Riviera through CEA has been one of the best experiences of my life. Our on-site coordinator, Kristen, was like a second mom to our group of 24 college students. The excursions and activities that she planned made my four months that much more special. Our housing was very centrally located and the public transportation made it easy to visit other neighboring cities like Nice and Cannes. Living in a different country for a semester can be scary, but it didn't take long before Antibes felt like my home. I feel so connected to Antibes that I plan to go back and visit every three years. And I have CEA to thank for it. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is considering studying abroad.

I really cannot express enough how amazing it was to study abroad in Galway, Ireland. Everything about this location is beautiful and worthwhile, and out of all the other countries I visited while abroad (The Netherlands, England, Poland and Spain), I can truly say that this is the best spot for study abroad students––especially through CEA, which was a super helpful, comforting and beneficial program for me to go through. Even if you aren't sure where to go, you will seriously not regret your decision to choose Galway. Thomas is the program director for CEA, and he actually lives in Galway. Also, he really does know his stuff and is quite the history buff on Ireland. By choosing to go through CEA, I not only guaranteed that someone would be there to look out for me, but I also got to explore different areas of Ireland with most expenses already paid at the time of travel. (We only had to pay a few times for our meals, but this was not extremely bothersome or anything. I didn't even really care much about this factor once we reached our destinations and got to explore this insanely beautiful country.) Additionally, the people in Ireland are really fun, down-to-earth and friendly. Galway is the perfect college town, and honestly the best area to live in Ireland (from what I've heard and seen from other people, not just myself!). Whenever I was on a flight from a different country to go back to Ireland, I didn't feel any sort of discomfort or sadness, because it always felt like I was just returning to my newfound homeland. Ireland became my life, and I cannot wait to return someday.

I can't believe it has almost been an entire month since I flew back home to the states. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else. I was also placed in housing that introduced me to some people who I really believe will be my friends for life (both American and Irish!). I cannot thank CEA enough for this experience, nor the people of Ireland for being so warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this program to all––you will seriously have the time of your life... guaranteed. :)

I had such a great time in Prague with CEA. The staff there was helpful, kind, and supportive. They were knowledgeable in many different areas and made the study abroad experience one that was well rounded and fun! They organized great activities to get us engaged with other students and the culture. We went to the Museum of Communism and had deep conversations about the lasting effects of that on the country in addition to other places right outside of Prague, like Karlsteijn castle and the Terezin ghetto/concentration camp. They provided the opportunities to learn about the different cultures within Prague and it was awesome. Prague itself is also a wonderful city to study abroad in because of it's beauty and central location for other travelling. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to study abroad!

My semester in Prague with CEA was easily the best four months in my life. I got to learn so much about the Czech culture while traveling around Europe, and it was an absolute fairytale. As far as the program goes, there is always something to do: planned activities, weekend excursions, a cool iMove program, monthly brunches, etc. My roommates and I got really close with CEA staff as a result of frequently attending these fun and free (included in program cost) events. Additionally, the city of Prague is busy & something is always happening. The five of us lived in the cool neighborhood of Vinohrady in a beautiful, spacious apartment amongst local Czechs. Lastly, the academics were pretty good. Anglo-American University was pretty easy in comparison to my large state school at home, so I was glad I wasn’t taking many major-related courses as I am not sure if they would go in as great of depth at AAU as they do in the states. The university is also very small and consists of 1/4 study abroad/exchange students, so it’s an interesting dynamic sometimes between exchange students and full-time students. Overall, it is a nice place close to the center of the city, and it offered courses that easily transferred back to my university.

CEA Rome was incredible in all aspects; mostly due to the people. The faculty was truly unmatched. From the second I arrived at orientation, I knew I chose a great program. We were well-informed on any and all information we could ever need, and the staff made themselves available for any and all questions/concerns of students (your parents can definitely rest east sending you here). Having a small, close-knit program, they really made us feel like family as students. The neighborhood, housing, small class sizes, safety, and school activities/trips were all excellent. Rome is a big city, but this program provided a community for me that made it feel like "home". I made lifelong friends in this program and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
