This was my second time back at LTL, and it did not disappoint! Everything is run so well. The administrative staff is friendly and welcoming. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient. I had Sissy as my teacher, and she was incredible. She really took the time to get to know us and kept the lessons interesting. She always found a way to relate each topic back to our lives, which kept me from dozing off during class.

Not to mention, LTL is in Da'an, right between Taipei 101 and Da'an Park. If you've never been to Taiwan before, this is the perfect location — easy access to both metro lines, and it's just a fun, lively place to be.

I highly, highly recommend studying at LTL. I'll absolutely be going back again.

However, Teacher Tri creates a learning environment where you feel comfortable and encouraged at all times.

I’ve spent the past 6 months with LTL at their Chengdu branch location and have gotten so much more comfortable with my Chinese over the months. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but all the staff and students kindly made me feel welcomed through interactions in the lobby or from social thursdays.

My goal for Chinese coming to Chengdu with some basic speaking fluency but no reading or writing capability was to even out my deficiencies and become able to function independently whenever going outside or having to get something done on my own. Without a doubt the biggest factor and help in my journey was my teacher Uni who is one of the strongest teachers I’ve ever had, not even just mentally but just like physically strong, so so strong, like breaking tables with her fists strong, but undoubtedly brilliant regardless. Headstrong literally she pushes you to the mental brink (positively) to enable you to learn and absorb more Chinese in a short period of time.

The location was great too, nearby is Chunxi Road which is a central downtown hub for shopping, nightlife, and city sights all around. No matter the time you can always find people and vendors active in this part of the city. I had plenty of opportunities to go out and explore restaurants and bars with the friends I made at LTL, sometimes en masse with teachers as well. I want to give a huge shoutout to all the teachers who are friends to me now, particularly Pan Pan, Alex, Stiles, Cora, Teacher Ying, Wu Yi(Alan), and so many more. When it comes to spending so much time in Chengdu I definitely cherished the charm the city had to offer that was felt through the pace and carefreeness in which people in the city lived. There’s also a great mix of nature and attractions around the city that are easily accessible through high speed rail or other transit methods. Also a big fan of biking around the city on the easily rentable bicycles.

When it comes to learning Chinese looking in hindsight I would definitely try to build habits for written Chinese much faster as it was a constant struggle to not only remember the characters, but also write them and then apply them in writing correctly. I still struggle with proper grammar in written Chinese if I don’t have a reference or internet access so this is something I have to continuously hone as I try to progress beyond just basic stories or anecdotes. Being more proactive with interactive methods also is a big boon, things like listening and breaking down music or podcasts / media content helps with the immersion factor even while being here.

Overall I’ll really miss the experience and moments I’ve had in Chengdu this past half year, hoping to stay in touch with the friends and come back and visit in the future. Lastly Chengdu is a great option for cost to value if you’re looking to save a little on spending compared to being in more upscale cities like Beijing and Shanghai, although I’m sure they’re all great places to stay and nurture yourself at the end of the day.

An absolutely amazing experience. A wonderful host family, an outstanding teacher, Chien-Yi Lin, excellent communication throughout via WhatsApp, and great flexibility before the trip, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Beyond the language learning, the warmth, kindness, and generosity of everyone we met made this a truly memorable experience. My child gained confidence, independence, and cultural openness. We highly recommend this program to any family looking for a meaningful and enriching experience abroad.

I spent a total of 6 weeks of small group classes at LTL Seoul in May and June and I words cannot describe how much fun I had.
The school itself is very nice, all the staff were really kind and helpful. I asked to change classes a couple of times and they were very happy to help me do so. Minji's lessons were so fun and engaging and she was the best teacher so I was able to really improved my Korean so much during my short time there.
I also really enjoyed all the activities which were organised by the school every week, where I was able to hang out with my friends I had made there while also exploring the city. It was a good mix of both cultural and fun activities so thanks to Sebastian for organising those!
Overall I really recommend of you are considering a language school in Seoul as you will not regret it!

This was my second visit to LTL chengdu and the words that best described it is it felt like “coming to my second home”. Last year I only spent a week at LTL however when returning this year, everybody made me feel so welcome again and like a part of the LTL family.

In the past I have visited many language schools, however nothing compares to my experience here. It is all because of the people. We had a wonderful teacher named Panpan who I cannot describe in words. You would need to be present in the classroom to fully understand because she is the definition of an intelligent, funny and kind teacher. I am a complete beginner and sometimes I got confused, yet Panpan managed to explain everything and still made sure I didn’t feel behind my other classmates. Thank you Panpan!! Last year, we were taught by Unicorn who is also the great definition of a perfect teacher as well as a very caring person who made sure we don’t feel overwhelmed and both of them will forever remain as great mentors and friends to us. Alll of the class agreed that we would love to return next year and study together once again.

I was also very lucky to meet with Alex, who welcomed us and always made sure to recommend to us all the fun activities in Chengdu and beyond. Same thanks goes out to Stiles! And a very important mention goes to the director of studies teacher Ying, who we were very happy to see after the year and had great conversations with. Thank you!!

All in all my experience at LTL was the definition of the best time spent. Learning whilst making great friends and discovering the culture is the best! Thank you to Panpan, Unicorn, Teacher Ying, Alex and Stiles. And I cannot wait to return next year!

I feel like my Chinese improved exponentially with much help from my teacher due to her skillful teaching and her engaging lessons as well as fun conversation. The lessons were always well taught and low pressure making class time more fun. I loved the cultural events and getting to meet new people as well as practicing my Chinese with them! All the staff was extremely friendly and I had a great time getting to know them through events and planned lunches.

Honestly such a brilliant experience! I have been here for five weeks and have five more to go and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. Everyone is so inviting and inclusive and there is a really good atmosphere to learn while having fun! I have two wonderful teachers, as-well as other staff that that are super kind who organise awesome events! I was not sure what I was going to expect coming to the centre, but I honestly could not rate it higher. I would definitely consider coming back for another stint.

I spent two weeks studying Chinese at LTL Chengdu, and I honestly had an amazing time. It was my second time there, and I already know that I want to come back again.

I am still a beginner, and vocabulary is the hardest part for me. Sometimes I knew what I wanted to say but could not find the right words. Panpan was always very patient and made sure I never felt bad or embarrassed about it. She helped me express myself and made me feel like a real part of the class.

I also loved that our lessons were not only about Chinese. We talked about life in China, cultural differences, geography, food and many other things. These discussions were probably my favourite part because they helped me understand China in a much more personal way. Panpan is very kind, funny and definitely the right person to be a teacher!!!!!!

One of the best moments was our trip to a small mountain city with Panpan and my classmates. It was extremely fun, and seeing the Chinese countryside was something that had been on my bucket list for a long time.

I also really enjoyed spending time with Teacher Ying, Unicorn, Alex and Stiles. They were all super kind, and I felt like I could tell them anything. I loved talking, eating and spending time with them, and they made my experience at LTL much more special.

The whole school has a very friendly atmosphere. I met people from all over the world, made new connections and hopefully some friends for life. I especially enjoyed going for lunch or dinner together after school. I was on the group class plan, so I still had at least half of the day to explore Chengdu.

I learned a lot during these two weeks, but the friendships and memories are probably what I will remember the most. For me, learning Chinese in China is definitely the most effective and enjoyable way to do it.

Studying at LTL School in Saigon was one of the best learning experiences I have ever had. Before I arrived, I was excited but also nervous because learning a new language in a new country felt like a big challenge. Very quickly, though, I realized that LTL creates a welcoming and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable, motivated, and confident. From the teachers to the staff and classmates, everyone helped make the experience enjoyable and effective.

This balanced approach kept the lessons interesting and practical. I especially appreciated the speaking activities because they encouraged everyone to participate, even students who were shy at first. The small class sizes also meant that each student received individual attention, which made a big difference in my progress.

I also really liked the learning materials. The textbooks, worksheets, and classroom activities were clear and thoughtfully designed. Teachers often added games, discussions, videos, and cultural examples to make the lessons more interactive. Another major strength of LTL is its focus on real communication. We practiced useful vocabulary for everyday situations like shopping, transportation, restaurants, and travel, which made it easier to remember and use what we learned outside the classroom.

The school also has a welcoming international atmosphere. Students come from many different countries, so it was easy to meet people from around the world and learn from different perspectives. The classrooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made studying pleasant. I also appreciated how flexible and supportive the teachers were whenever students needed extra explanation or more practice.

Studying in Saigon itself added so much to the experience. The city is lively and full of opportunities to practice Vietnamese in real situations. After class, I could use what I learned in cafés, markets, and restaurants, which made the language feel alive and useful. LTL also introduced us to Vietnamese culture, customs, and everyday expressions, helping me understand the language more deeply.

Overall, I highly recommend LTL School in Saigon to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese in a professional, friendly, and encouraging environment. I left with stronger language skills, more confidence, and a much greater appreciation for Vietnamese culture. My time at LTL was truly valuable, and I will always remember it with gratitude.
