I am studying with Silk for one year now. I am happy and satisfied with the learning experience. The teachers have a professional background and adapt the learning techniques according to the strength of the student. The teachers have a modern teaching style with a lot of interaction to increase the learning results. I have a 1:1 class, but there are different classes available.
Silk is also organizing activities and events. This is always fun and a good way to get in contact with new people.
I will continue to study with Silk.

I´ve realized I should learn Mandarin after I decided to do business with Chinese people. I had no choice but to study online, so I started looking for a Chinese language school. Sooner I came across Silk Mandarin.
There I found a highly qualified team and unique teaching method. Its business development team was effective at organizing the class schedule due to my time zone difference. Teachers go an extra mile providing online tools to practice and additional materials to help me with characters and listening. In a brief time, I was already feeling comfortable with the new language.
I highly recommend Silk Mandarin for anyone seeking to learn or improve Mandarin in a fast and pleasant way.

For a person like me, who doesn't have much free time, this course is perfect. It's once a week but lasts for 90minutes. A lots of material is covered in just one class and then it's self study that reinforces the learning. The videos on the teaching platform are very helpful and well designed in terms of duration and interactive content. The classes are fun and engaging and filled with interesting activities. I have nothing but great things to say about Silk Mandarin Training Institute. Keep up the good work!

This is my second online course ever and I would have to say I really enjoyed it. The teacher student interactions were great and I thought the course notebooks and ppt are very informative and supplemental to the studying. The pictures and graphs in the texts books really helped me get an idea of what I was studying. I think the simplicity of this course and the way they designed it online really work well to help students process the information and maintain it. The assignments in the beginning of the course seem relatively long, but I thought everything was very fair and the questions were well presented. I think your grading is very well done and I really enjoyed taking every moment of it!! This was an opportunity I was not given at my current four year university. Thanks again Hannah 老师!

I've completed HSK3 class.
Of course it will not give 100% understanding of all required words & grammar for freely communicate, but its like one of steps , which need to do to the success of mastering language.

This training is not an easy walk, as other trainings, it requires to work by learning new words, expressions, grammar, do writing, reading, listening exercises. Compared to other trainings, which I've completed before, this one has balance between all these language part without focus only on one part (e.g. many books / trainings only give expressions and new words without any note about grammar rules).

i hv been that lucky to find this platform on-line for learning Chinese. It's helpfull and convenient .
Always avaialble to help on each step you may need. After 8 years in china i started to comunicate with my friends in chinese after a couple of months lessoning with Silk Mandarin.
Thank you guys of Silk Mandarin. unfortunally i couldn't be on their parties which were so funny and where can make a lot of friends. Thank you again for your support. I suggest it for everyone who want to not be a surviver in China.

Before starting my studies with "Silk Mandarin" I was studying independently, and I found that I wasn't able to understand many of the intricacies of the language, as well as finding it difficult to self-motivate my studies.

Since studying with Silk Mandarin, I have managed to study a great deal quicker (I covered HSK4 and 5 in just over 6 months. My teacher (Grace) was always very kind, and supportive, and took the time to understand my learning style, and how to best support me.

As well as this SilkMandarin helped me to understand the culture of China better, along with learning the language, and they have many interesting events they offer, which helps to settle into Shanghai as a foreigner.

I have made excellent progress in my Chinese language development and I’m able to track my progress and keep to my goals. The learning materials follow HSK but are designed to make the lesrning accessible and meaningful to a westerner.My teacher is flexible and allows me to shape my learning journey which makes the learning personalized and meaningful.

I have been studying at Silk Mandarin Institute since two months. Before I came to know Silk Mandarin I studied HSK 1 in Dhaka and then HSK 2 at home during the lockdown period. After a short time I understood that I made the right choice. Silk Mandarin offers a very efficient study method and at the same time the opportunity to be in the hands of real professionals in this field. My teacher has the capacity to make the lessons pleasant and highly productive thus helping me not only with my studies but also in keeping my motivation up. Besides an excellent study program the school allows you to fully emerge into the daily life and the culture of this wonderful country.

Sono uno studente del Silk Mandarin da due mesi. Prima di conoscere questo istituto ho studiato Hsk 1 a Dhaka e poi Hsk2 a casa durante il periodo di lockdown da solo. Dopo poco tempo ho capito che ho fatto la scelta giusta. Il Silk Mandarin offre non solo un metodo di studio molto efficace, ma anche la possibilità di essere seguiti da veri professionisti del settore. La mia insegnante rende le lezioni piacevoli e allo stesso tempo altamente produttive aiutandomi non solo nello studio, ma anche a tenere alte le mie motivazioni. Inoltre la scuola con un programma di studio eccellente permette una full immersion nella vita quotidiana e nella cultura di questo meraviglioso paese.

I have been taking private classes since moving to China in 2016 and I started attending Silk Mandarin in person (in Shanghai) in 2021, at friends' recommendation, and it's been a great decision. I have classmates and a regular schedule that is not easy to modify (as it happens with private classes) and that gave me the extra push I needed to study chinese more regularly and consistently. Consistency is key. The pace of the class is also adequate to really learn and assimilate the content. I personally would recommend small groups learning over private class anytime. The resources are great and the teachers pay attention to the individual students' needs. Also very accommodating with the schedule, which is very important for us working people. See you there!
