Finance&Accounting

My internship led to paid work and a healthier lifestyle!
If you think an internship can’t lead to paid work, well, think again. I am living proof that it can. My summer accounting internship, which was arranged by Go Abroad China, lead to a paid accounting internship. Fingers crossed, I’m hoping to stay here at this company long-term. During my time here, I have gained invaluable insight into the global and international financial markets. It's fascinating to me to see how the changes that are currently taking place in China’s financial markets impact the Chinese economy. It's a subject which is of great interest to me. And, I have prospered from more than a professional perspective. With a keen interest in health and well-being, I attended Taiji Quan classes at activities organized by Go Abroad China. This really helps me to relax and has vastly improved my understanding of the language and the culture in Dalian.

Hotels&Hospitality

I loved my time working at a global hotel chain in China’s largest city!

Placed at an international hotel in Shanghai where I worked on reception with a team of experienced staff. Shanghai - Wow! A city that never sleeps. Clubs and bars are buzzing, trendy nightspots, international DJs, professional bartenders, amazing restaurants with breathtaking views of the City - Shanghai has got it all.

Thoroughly enjoyed learning how the hotel’s booking system worked and watching the experts at work. Duties included greeting guests which really brought my language skills on! Communicated with other teams around the hotel such as housekeeping, restaurant staff, maintenance, marketing, finance, and accounts. Would recommend GAC to anyone looking for a hospitality internship abroad. It can even lead to paid hospitality internships if you are interested in staying on longer.

Wonderful Trip in Shanghai

A wonderful reception with 24/7 clockwise service for any issue or language problem that could arise. My Chinese lecturer was very dedicated and very patient person and very experienced. I learned more in my 8 weeks in Shanghai than I had learnt one year studying at home. The 8 weeks with GAC is not forgettable at all, I succeed such a great experience to deal with real life issues and getting a local reference in China for the future

Go Abroad China make my dreams true

My name is Amy from South Australia im 21 years old. My program was an internship program in the marketing section with GAC would have to be one of the best experiences of my life. From the weekend trips with GAC to making friends from all around the world, there was always something fun and exciting to keep you entertained. The staff at GAC were very helpful, whether it was a trip to the doctors or the post office, they were always happy to help and translate if needed. The weekend activities are a great way to make friends as well as finding out about China's heritage and culture. I can't wait to come back and do it all again next year!!
My experience was amazing to learn and discover new life experience and I was differently lucky to be with Go Abroad China

The GAC staff worked hard at helping me learn Mandarin Chinese, setting up tours, helping me with day-to-day living, though especially with making me feel welcome and seeing me feel comfortable in China! My biggest regret is not having more time

Go Abroad China Save my study pathway

My name is Mark im 24 years from Melbourne Australia. My program was Shanghai Fudan University - one Academic year's language study program.

My experience was fabulous with GAC. I Was so worried and frustrating because I have no idea about China and this is my first international flight, but since I arrived in Shanghai until I finished my program, I didn't fell im international at all.

The staff are extremely friendly and treat me with manners. Sometimes they spend more time trying to help me and give me advice. I would like to say big thank you to Serena, She helps me so much even after the working hours she helped me to secure a job and give me a hand in a huge country like China, I won't be able to survive a day without her.

The company resect all the promises between me and them with high manners.

The homestay was a great idea, I lived with a nice family and I was so satisfied because I didn't fell im different from them, They are nice and so generous to me and they have very high consideration about the young people.

GAC help me as well to get a job for 1 year in another company and they help as well to be an extra reference in the country.
I would definitely recommend Go abroad to China because they are very helpful and very kind and friendly people

Unforgettable experience in China through GAC

I miss my friends, our time together and the classes we had at BLCU. I decided to take a break from college and applied for a Chinese Langauge program in China through GAC where I could improve my speaking and reading Mandarin and explore the hidden gem which is China. I was not disappointed at all when I got to China. Now that Ive left i wish i took more photos and went out more. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their Chinese reading and speaking skills and just to travel to China, its a beautiful place.

GAC Study Program in China - my experience

Before I started college, I decided to get the experience of visiting China as I was planning on majoring in Mandarin. I discussed extensively with GAC, making sure they found me an appropriate college where I could gain and improve my Chinese language skills while also enjoy and explore China. GAC really did well and were attentive to my requests. I enjoyed my stay in China and gained memorable experiences

Great fun in China

I left for Beijing China in June last year, completely clueless of what to expect. Everything got better though when I was picked up from the airport, I was really nervous when I got to China at first. I got to stay in a shared student accommodation with the best roommates and flat mates. We had so much fun, playing ping pong and also practicing our Chinese while in class. I really miss them now though.
