My Level 5 TEFL Course was in San Francisco and Online. The intrusctor was very knowledgeable during the class demo. The course was comprehensive with videos, images and text to enhance comprehension of the materials.
The Course covers everything you will need to succeed as a teacher, the price was very good and its globally reorganized as a British accredited TEFL Course. I got so many help from the TEFL Academy team throughout the course.
The assignments help to re-enforce the materials and enable me to check my understanding of each sessions. The format was perfect with 2 days hands-on classroom training, scenarios and demos as in a classroom settings.
The price was reasonable for such comprehensive Course when compare to so many over-priced courses out there.

I really enjoyed taking this online TEFL course. The program was a great learning experience and the staff was very helpful. I learned a lot more about teaching taking this course than any classroom experience. There were also a 2 day in-person classroom training which the students were able to participate in. The live teachers were very nice and professional with plenty years of experience. My overall goal is to teach English in Southeast Asia for one year. At the same time, I also want to be able to travel many countries in Asia and learn a new language. Some of the countries I have found very interesting are Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. I have already traveled to many countries in Asia and Europe while living here in the United States. I hope that becoming a TEFL teacher will help me travel to more different countries.

I currently teach Chinese kids online, and I wanted to get a TEFL certification to keep up with the new regulations. So not only did this course satisfy that, the cost and ease of the program was great. It only took me about 2 months to finish the program, and they promptly mailed my certificate. They covered every possible aspect you could think of, and they even included one of their top-up courses for free. Their units are easy to go through, and the assignments you have to hand in are thorough and thought-provoking, and help put you in the mindset to build and run lessons. I also learned a lot about teaching and lesson planning in general, this course is not just for ESL teaching. Overall, I would definitely recommend this program to other teachers.

This opportunity allowed me to live my dream and move to cool counties. I feel like the lessons got my brain into the mode of teaching English, but more so opened the doors to allow me to apply for better jobs (where I learned a ton more). I think this is a great thing to do for anyone who is interested in teaching, language, travel, building your resume, or just wants a side hustle. Really no down side, the price is reasonable and is worth what you receive and the benifit is really nice. I received a job in less than 2 months of beginning the process. The job was my top city and at the most relevant school group in the city. There are lots of great things here, so I would totally recommend taking full advantage and going for it. Happy travels!

I am very grateful to have completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) since it gave me the proper certification to start my teaching job in Germany. The lessons were easy to complete at my own pace at home, I greatly enjoyed meeting students from around the world at the intensive classroom weekend portion, and the assignments were challenging in a good way. I would recommend this program to anyone who would like to teach English in their own backyard or somewhere else completely different in the world! I was really excited to start putting some of the theoretical elements of the course to use in a practical way in the classroom, which proved to be excellent starting points for my deeper understanding of how to teach a foreign language, especially one as complicated as English!

I had been searching for online TEFL courses for 3 months. It was very difficult to make a choice. This online academy was amazing. I repeated everything which I had studied at the University plus I learned new techniques, methods and theory.
I had some difficulties with my second Assignment but they gave me three attempts to pass it. The tutor wrote some detailed recommendations on how to improve it and what to rewrite. So my second attempt was successful.
I really appreciate this course. Now I know how to write lessons plans, how to find useful material on the internet easily and how to cope with difficulties in class. They also gave me a list of special websites with worksheets, teacher's tips. You also can easily find a job through this site.
I really enjoy their online support. You always can create a ticket and ask them everything. The managers are very polite and intelligent.
Now I'm waiting for my printed certificate. They say that It may take 2 weeks to receive it.

I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and I am getting ready for a new adventure. I have received some job offers and opportunities and the TEFL certificate was definitely a an asset. When you earn a TEFL certification your resume boosts and you are definitely seen with other eyes.
The TEFL Academy was just what I needed, as I was working on a 8 to 5 schedule and I could organize my studying hours in my benefit. I would dare to say it is one of the best and most affordable online TEFL certification programs available.
As a TEFL Academy graduate you will have enough experience to take up a class, as the assignments are quite challenging and the examples that are associated to each chapter offer you a broaden perspective what ESL teaching means. I have experienced the highest training standards and I have received constant support throughout my learning process.

I really liked this course, overall it was excellent. Having done teacher training before it actually helped improve my understanding of teaching further. It was really comprehensive, and covered all areas of teaching as best as an online course could. The units are fairly straightforward and the assignments really help to consolidate what you have learnt, by actually putting it into practise. You can raise support tickets if you need help, and they are normally answered within 24 hours.

The in-person weekend seminar was really good as well, as it helped people to see TEFL teaching in practice, and to practise those skills too. The instructors make sure that there is a lot of interaction between participants and also get them to design their own lesson and present it to the class - which is good practise.

The support system for this course was excellent. Whenever I had an issue or was stuck on a particular point I was able to send a "ticket" to the providers which they responded to within the following 24 hours. The course was also both practical and informative. It contained numerous useful links for obtaining further information on teaching TEFL. Some of these links contained useful videos to explain how to teach a certain subject. Because of this, O could tell that the provider had certainly thoroughly researched the subject.
The assignments were both challenging but yet if practice use. There is plenty of review exercises in the course to consolidate what I had learnt.
Overall the course is intensive, and though it is a little more expensive then other course of a similar nature, it is worth the cost.

I loved the experience of the classroom training. So much fun!! And very very helpful. This course has been a joy from the get go. I felt unsure if I would be able to teach other people. I am a Pharmacist and very scientific. How so you teach if you have no experience?! I am so confident after the course because they teach you methods and give you guidelines how to teach. It was so easy anyone can do it. The hardest part of the whole experience is to decide where to go after you have completed your course! Europe,Asia,Middle East...The world is your oyster!! It was very affordable. It doesn't fee like a gamble. You can do this even if you don't use it right away. It just gives you that extra qualification that sets you apart from the other guy
