This was a great way to get ourselves into the travelling mood. Our tour guide Max was the most helpful guide. He did his job brilliantly.
Only one problem was that we already paid a lot of money to go on the tour and then we spent quite a bit of money when we were there. That’s the only negative.

The activities are that were involved on the tour were amazing and would never had done them if we didn’t do the tour.

The 14 days I really liked.My favorite was the hiking into the jungle and going to the small village. Never forget this 😁. Art and Arthur are super nice and interested in making everyone happy and always take care of us .You feel that you love your job. I would always book a trip again 👍. Being together with the group was just great I have met many new friends. I extended the trip by 8 days because the group is great and the organization is pretty good. Together we will explore the south of Thailand. There is something for everyone.

A Tru Northern Thailand experience - truly incredible. All pre travel nerves are quickly settled once you step out of the airport and are escorted to the hotel in Bangkok and meet up with the tour guides with the biggest smiles on their faces and the rest of your special Tru Travel family of travellers and you feel immediately welcome. Once the tour starts it is truly unbelievable the amount of incredible places you see in such a short amount of time. If you think the itinery looks good then prepare to be amazed! From the tremendous Temples, fantastic floating markets, wonderful waterfalls, the welcome in the jungle from the hill tribe and feeding and bathing elegant elephants. It’s hard to put into words how much joy this tour produces. The tour guides Art and Arthur are two completely different characters but work so well together. Informative, funny and they always make you to feel 100% safe and want you to have the best time. In your free time away from the activities they will accomodate the lifestyle you want to lead whilst on the tour. Overall this tour has led to meeting the most incredible people, seeing sights I never thought I’d see and has been truly life changing. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This tour was the best way to start the new year. Our tourguides Art and Arthur made from the beginning on sure, that all of us are safe and having a great time. Especially the "family time" around dinner was well organized by them. We learned a lot about the Thai culture and went to many beautiful places. Especially the elephant home in Chiang Mai was one of my highlights. We had a fantastic time feeding and washing the elephants and even taking a bath with them. Also, without TruTravels I would have never spent a night at a hilltribe. It surely was a unique experience but worth the hike through Thailand's jungle. Also, adrenaline started to kick in when we were zip lining and went to a waterpark. We also had a great time at a Thai cooking class where we got to prepare five different but typical Thai dishes. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves to explore Thailand's culture and is up for many fun activities!

I just completed the Northern Thailand Adventure tour and I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see the beauty of Northern Thailand! Every activity of the tour was well planned out by our great tourguides: Arthur and Art. They where very friendly along the trip and always trying to make everyone happy! I've seen a lot of cool places and did a lot of fun activities that I would not have done if I went by myself. For example the hill tribe through the jungle and staying with a local family, the elephant sanctuary, a traditional Thai cooking class, beautifull temples, the city of Bangkok, several waterfalls and beautifull nature, the nighttrain........ So so much! Everything was totally worth it and I enjoyed every minute!

Couldent have imagined a better time, had such a good tour group and our guides Art and Arthur were the funniest and most humble blokes, are such a great team! Each day they were kind to everyone and made everyone laugh. Each hotel we stayed at was so much nicer then I was expecting, each meal we had was unbelievable and so cheap, they really showed us the best of places. Honestly couldent have imagined a better time in these 2 weeks, very sad to have to leave people! Many thanks to everyone on the team and the paperwork behind, as I managed to extend my tour which was also no hassle at all and very easy! The jungle trek was challenging for some people but that was one of the best experiences of my life getting there and then spending a night in the village, sat round the fire enjoying music with some drinks! Feel like I would have never seen as much coming to Thailand as I have done in these 2 weeks if it wasn’t for the tour so honestly can’t thank them enough. King Art and King Arthur!!

Tru Travels organized an amazing 14 days in tour Northern Thailand. The two weeks flew by with two amazing guides (Arthur and Art) showing us their homeland. We had 18 mostly strangers in our group from USA and Europe and we all quickly became great friends. Tru Travels organized great daily activities and we all had a great time a night eat and drinking! I would definitely recommend Tru Travels, especially if you don’t want or can’t spend a lot of money! We got spend night in tribe village, feed and wash elephants, ziplined in jungle, went bamboo water rafting, shopped in floating markets, and had 3 amazing nights in Pai, biked around old historic capital, took a Thai cooking class, went to a watermark, saw lots of waterfalls and hiked a lot! All that in 14 days!!!

As a solo traveller and my first time to SE Asia this tour is probably one of the best things I could have done. Along with Arthur and Art (our guides) being so friendly and welcoming, we had the best group and have met so many wonderful people and friends I hope I will see again. Together we shared so many amazing experiences around northern Thailand, from jungle trekking and camping at a remote village tribe, visiting the historic floating markets of Damnoen Saduak and my personally highlight playing with the elephants at the sanctuary. This certainly was an adventure of a lifetime and I have experienced many things such as bike riding through Ayutthaya and catching the 12 hour night train to Chang Mai which is something I would have never done otherwise. I truly believe this is one of the best things I could have ever done and I could not recommend it enough.

Just finished the 14 day Northern Thailand tour and can honestly say that Arthur and Art have done an amazing job at making this the best two weeks of my life. The tour itself includes a great mix of activities from hiking, boozing, temples, waterfalls and elephants. Both Arthur and Art have been excellent tour guides, and have always gone out of our way to look after us and made sure we all felt included with 'family dinners' every night. At the same time they always made sure we knew we were free to do our own thing, and listened to what we wanted to do and tailored the days to suit us best. It was so nice knowing that we didn't have to worry or plan anything, we were met and looked after as soon as we arrived at the airport, and didn't have to plan a thing unless we wanted to do anything extra. I'm going to miss seeing everyone and Art and Arther, who made sure we were always laughing and having a good time. Can't wait to do the rest of the 27 day tour, honestly cannot recommended Arthur and Art and this tour enough

This trip has been amazing and has our done all of my expectations. I have had the most amazing time and have loved learning about the culture and way of life of Thai people. I didn’t think I would enjoy seeing the temples, but I was wrong. I feel I have learnt so much about other religions and the temples were so beautiful. Staying in a hill tribe was also amazing as we experienced what life was like for locals, no electricity or lights, just a campfire and some music. It was my favourite night. Our tour guides, Art and Arthur were fab and so knowledgeable of the Thai culture and they new the best place for a party! The tour wouldn’t have been the same without them 😊. We have done so much in the 14 days, but the erwan National Park and seeing the elephants had to be my favourite bit. I have taken away the most amazing memories that will last a life time and have met amazing people that will be friends for life. I would recommend this tour to everyone. THANK YOU art and Arthur you were da best x
