One of the best experiences on my entire life!! I would 100% recommend this tour and tru travels to anyone who wants to travel. As a newcomer to travelling, I was slightly worried before coming out, but once I got here my tour guides instantly put me at ease. Arthur and Patty met me at the airport and were chatting to me like I’d know them for ages. Thailand is such a beautiful place and I would not have done half the things on this tour if I had travelled here without tru travels. My tour guides have made my experience the best it could have been. Thanks to Arthur, Benmore and Patty!! I’m ready to book my next tour with tru travels already and I haven’t even finished this tour yet!! I’m so happy with the experience tru travels and my tour guides have given me. 100% will be back again! Tash x

We just arrived back home after the 14 Day Northern Thailand Tour with Trutravels and miss Thailand, our fellow travelers and especially our wonderful tour guides Mickey, Darrin and intern Whiskey every day. The three of them did a fantastic job in making everybody feel welcome and at home in a foreign country. We learned a lot about Thai culture, food and even a few Thai words. Everything was well organized and worth every penny. I loved the elephants, the ziplining, the hill tribe, the waterfalls... but what I loved most was the unique and fun atmosphere in our group. I would definitely do another tour with Trutravels and I would especially recommend our guides Mickey, Darrin and Whiskey. They really did everything to make this a once in a lifetime experience for all of us! Friends forever!

Truely a great tour with a great group of people ranging in age from 18 - 37. There are lots of activities included to suit all tastes, from an adventurous 5 hour jungle trek and overnight village stay to chilling out at the amazing Chang Mai Grand Canyon water park. The guides Mickey, Darrin and Whisky were great, injecting lots of fun and laughter. They went out of their way to help us and looked after me when ill. The food included in the day time activities was always tasty and a good standard. Would thoroughly recommend this trip to all!

The overnight train was even a great experience. All of the hotels we stayed in were of a good standard and very clean.

You visit lots of temples on this trip so ensure you pack enough clothing

Jumped on the Tru Travel Vietnam explorer with my girlfriend to experience Vietnam and we have had an absolute blast. Exploring Vietnam with an amazing group of people was truly an experience we will never forget! We had a real mix of ages (24-60) on our group and this tour really did cater for everyone. Both our tour guides where amazing, Justin and Edna, I can not thank them enough. They really made made this experience even better! Always happy, full of infectious energy, helpful, caring and just all round beautiful people! I have to mention it was my birthday on the tour and they went out of there way to book a beaut restaurant and even brought me a cake which was an excellent touch! Justin, carry on doing what your doing pal, amazing memories we will never forget! Thanks again:)

I've had the most amazing time - I'm not even sure I know where to start!

The trip overall was absolutely fantastic. We packed so much in to 10 days and I didn't sleep much but it was so worth it!

The included activities were so well organised and picked out - my absolute favourite was the canyoneering in Moalboal. Such an amazing adrenaline filled day! The island hopping in Siargao is a very close second - chilling out on the most beautiful beaches was the perfect end to the trip.

The accommodation is great too. All twin share hotels and some of them are beach locations. Absolutely perfect for chilling out in the evening before dinner. The food and drinks at the hotels are also super cheap so it's really easy to do this trip on a budget if you need to!

Finally, our guide Dean was amazing. He was our official super patient photographer (with 7 girls to please) and couldn't do enough for us. He was always up for a night out (definitely make the most of the nightlife in Siargao - you won't regret it!) and bright and bubbly the next morning even if we weren't!
He also encouraged us all eating together in the evening - he's got some amazing restaurant recommendations. He definitely made the trip perfect for everyone, regardless of what they wanted to get out of it!

After lots of contemplation wether or not I should do a tour traveling Thailand or not, I can honestly say that I don’t regret my decision at all after doing the Trutravels tour. This tour overall has been such an unforgettable and positive experience. This tour provided me with memories and friendships that will last a life time. I was also able to experience so much more than I would have traveling solo, wether it had been a different view point lookout, restaurant, bar, beach, too many to mention!! A HUGE factor in making this tour as amazing as it was, was because of the tour guides; Delaney, Aurthur, and Gogi. All of the guides worked so hard the whole tour to make this the most enjoyable experiences of our lives, they were always looking out for each of us to make sure we were having a great time. They were all incredibly organized and were all great resources if you had any questions about during or after the tour. Delaney was an incredible tour guide, she was very organized and was always amazing to go to for questions or travelling advice. She really looked out for all of us to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She was the life of the party and always made every night out or day trip so much fun. She really was able to bring everyone close and together like a family. If Delaney was my tour guide again I wouldn’t hesitate to book another Trutravels tour. Aurthur was such a great tour guide! He was always so fun and upbeat and I don’t believe I ever saw him without a smile on his face! It was evedent throughout the tour that he really loved the work he was doing for Trutravels. Aurthur was able to help us all embrace the Thailand culture and had lots of information to share. Gogi was another amazing guide on this tour. I can’t say enough about Gogi. He took over the rest of the tour by himself with those of us who continued on for the 23 days after the first half of the tour had completed. He was very well organized! Gogi went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was enjoying them selves and happy with the itenerary each day. He really put all of us first and was so accommodating. Gogi also helped us embrace the Thailand culture and I took a lot from what he had to share with the group. If any of us had any questions Gogi was a great resource! Overall Gogi had such a wonderful personality and he made each day one to remember. Although Abby, who works for Trutravels, was not specifically our tour guide on this tour, I have to mention how wonderful she was!! Abby has such a fun, upbeat, and sweet personality. From day one I knew that she was someone I could go to with anything whether it be any questions or when I was in need of suggestions. She also made sure that everyone was having a great time and made everyone feel very involved. Abby was able to sit down with me and help me piece together my next trip in Bali for after the tour. It meant the world that she took time to give me the best locations to stay at down to what restaurants/bars are the best to go to for specific nights of the week. I am now on my Bali trip and so far Abby’s recomendations are spot on! Throughout this tour I always felt very safe! The guides were always made aware of where everyone was for the most part and made it easy for everyone to get from point a to point b. All of our destinations were amazing and so beautiful! I am so thankful for this experience. Thank you Trutravels, you can count on me for a recommendation.

Our tour guide were the epic Delaney and one Way.
The trip was exactly as advertised... great for the solo traveller lots of content and fun things to do as well as some culture. Just make sure you are ready for the step climbing lol.
The trip was amazing and Delaney was a powerhouse of energy and fun.
The trip is packed with great activities and you can pick and choose how much extra fun you want in the bars after.
Great times and I would definately travel again with trutravells.
My favourite part of the trip was the elephant sanctuary and the zip lining was great too!
I did not enjoy the cave as much but I think that’s a personal thing as I found I do not like the confined spaces or spiders. However being rafted in and out was fun and others enjoyed it.
I think the trip was managed well and the accommodation good. It had everything we need. It is worthwhile reminding people that the overnight trains feel like you are in the Arctic on the top bunks! But again that may just be me and it was still comfortable.
I had an amazing time that I wish I could repeat !

I was so nervous before going on the trip, would everyone get on, would it be awkward etc. I was so wrong to be nervous I was welcomed by a driver at the airport and taken straight to he hotel. Upon arrival I met some of the group and from then on I didn’t feel nervous or worried the whole rest of the trip. The whole tour was fantastic from start to finish, every day planned out for you. I went on the tour alone but I feel like I have left with a family. Our tour guides Delaney, Arthur, Gogi and Abby made the tour so special, they knew everything about all of the areas we travelled to and just made the trip so fantastic. I don’t think I stopped smiling once on the trip . I would 100% visit Thailand again. The memories I have made will lastforever. Best holiday ever. Thank you Tru travel.

Best trip of my life, loved every second of it! Pushed myself out of my comfort zone and everyone on the trip really make me feel at home. The tour guides were great fun, organised and also ensuring your were enjoying yourself. Couldn’t thank them enough for making the experience what it was. All of the activities where everything and more I could ask for, I have made some great memories I will cherrish forever. Even the overnight trains weren’t that bad!!

Highlights for me that stood out were the elephant sanctuary, jungle trek and hill tribes stay and the temple tour on bikes. But every day was a great day all the accommodation was perfect, a real bonus having a swimming pool too. The food included in the tour was fantastic, great value for money exceeding all my expectations.

I've just finished both the Northern Thailand tour with Delaney and One Way and the Southern Thailand tour with Pom Pom and Steven and could easily recommend tru travels for its variety of activities, accomodation choices and non-stop fun. Would not hesitate to use in the future or recommend to friends in the future.

All of my guides made sure that the whole group had fun and were well accommodated for adopting a family like spirit.

Best memories for me were the elephants, jungle trek & homestay, bottle beach, the cooking class and the zip lining through the jungle. I am looking forward to doing more Tru Travel tours in the future, already booked onto the Komodo island hopper and the Philippines island hopper in 2019. Bring it on!
