I have completed the 120 hour course and I am excited. I was able to study at my own pace and I am my satisfied with my results. The methodology was detailed but thorough. The class assignment grading system is amazing the tutors give explanations to help grasp each concept.The downloads are a wonderful resource to have when working with large class groups or small groups. I am looking forward to see how far i can excel by participating in this program of study. The time frame suited my schedule which gave me the opportunity to continue with this program.

TEFL has been extremely workable around my schedule, which changes from week-to-week, without having the drawbacks of other asynchronous courses; the lessons were engaging and easy to follow. Even on days when I was spread thin, the TEFL courses were broken up into units that were easy to finish in a few minutes, meaning I could always fit it into my schedule.
I feel like I have a much better grasp of lesson-planning, classroom control, and teacher-student engagement thanks to this course. Highly recommend!

This program contains a lot of good information that native English speakers don't usually have to think about, because we just learned it as we learned to read, write and speak. It was good to review the grammar especially, as that is the foundation to understanding English. The other aspects of the course, like lesson layouts, activities, and platforms was helpful as well. As an already certified teacher, some information felt like review, while other information will be helpful in teaching English specifically.

I had been thinking about doing a TEFL for a while and then I broke my leg, which gave me a recovery window where I took this course. I found the videos easy to follow and engaging, yet the final module 'Teaching Online' was all text. Sometimes the text regarding assignments was split between two pages. But honestly there was a lot to these rubrics so I could see why. The actual content was good and informative. Tutor support was helpful and swift and featured great feedback. Only once did I need help to improve an assignment and the feedback led me to do this swiftly and effectively. It's a tricky course from whatever background you come from academically, not to be underestimated. But TEFL.org provide all the tools to qualify with a certificate, which can open opportunities for varied futures. Well worth the investment.

I really enjoyed completing this TEFL course! It was a great learning experience that helped me gain valuable knowledge and practical skills for teaching English. The course was well-organized, easy to follow, and full of useful information that I can apply in my future teaching career.

My first experience in learning a new language and teaching skills online was nothing but a positif experience.
Sometimes challenging but overall a pleasant learning experience. A lot has changed in how to teach and I'm all up for it! :)

This was an online program so no actual experience on an exotic location. However, the advantage of e-learning is obviously the chosing of your own time and place which is a huge advantage when you are working. The modules where nicely micro-dosed so it was an easy digestable course.

I've been teaching English for 3 years and have taught other teachers how to teach. Because I already had English teaching experience, I thought I wouldn't learn anything new and would just pass some courses to get a certificate. But it wasn't like that at all. The TEFL course challenged me and showed me what high-quality, standardized education looks like. I understood what it means to transform knowledge systematically, and how to understand my students' needs and meet them effectively.
