The staff did a wonderful job helping me with my bank problems and got me free access to the gym (given short stay). Every time I had something I needed, someone was always there to help out. NSC does a great job. Professional site design, price and programme flexibility.

I heard about Next Step China through a friend who I went to school with, she told me about the program and was immediately interested because I was looking for a program to study Mandarin for so long. For me the tutoring programs really worked well because home my school doesn’t teach as much conversational mandarin. They focused more on vocabulary and grammar structure and textbook work. And so working here with a tutor I needed to speak more than in a classroom setting and that that is what I really wanted to press onn

Coming on my own I don’t think was ever really an option for me, because I was working pretty much up until I got here, so I didn’t want to spend time getting my police registration, or signing up for wifi, trying to figure out how to even do all those things. I wanted to really spend my time studying the language, getting to know the city, meeting people, and so Next Step China handled all those things, and when I arrived, we went out to dinner, and we had a neighborhood orientation, and went out… we were able to get the process going right away.

NSC definitely met my expectations. The fact that the company was friendly and like a family made it more welcoming. If there was a problem with any of the people’s apartments, help will always be there by the next day. Any problems were alerted. There is also fast speed wireless internet!!!!

I would definitely recommend Next Step China just because the opportunities and the experience you get here is so different from any program you could be in. My goal in choosing the program was to find something that would best be suited for me and my level of Mandarin. I wanted a challenging program. I choose Next Step China’s Year-Round Accelerated Tutoring Program because I didn’t want to sit in a classroom all day. With the tutoring program the tutor would come to my apartment and the program was personal. I felt no other company could offer that, except Next Step China.

Next Step China, they’ve been good to me. I’ve made a lot of lifetime long friends here. I’ve enjoyed almost every second I’ve been here. I’ve had a bunch of really good times I’ll never forget. My language improved a lot and I am very thankful to the people here at Next Step China. Next Step China’s service exceeded expectations. They were very helpful. If I needed remotely anything done, they would go out to do it. Even if I knew it was a pain on them, they would still go out of their way to do it, like losing a cell phone, they would help me out with that and they are very helpful. I’ve had a bunch of really good times I’ll never forget. My language improved a lot and I am very thankful to the people here at Next Step China.

I wanted to do some sort of private teacher program because I suspected if I entered a university grogram it was not going to move very quickly. I wanted something more intense. I just put intensive tutor program, China on Google and the first thing to show up was NextStepChina. I went to NextStepChina and after a while of talking to them for a few weeks I was convinced and I decided to apply. I love the Next Step accommodations. I thought they were very up to par with western standards. I thought they were definitely better than any other Chinese accommodations around here and I’ve seen a few. I think they’ve got all the basic amenities and just very complete, very good.

I started taking Mandarin at BLCU, through Next Step China, so it’s been good. My favorite part so far has been meeting so many people, rom everywhere, and they’re all here to learn and put themselves out of their own comfort zone, so I think that was one of the awesome parts about it.

I really don’t have any complaints….everything was fine. We chose NSC because it was the cheapest option and offered the most freedom (like not having every day completely planned out) and was the right time range and in Beijing. They responded to emails really quickly. My mom sent way too many emails to Amy but she still answered all of them really quickly! I choose to stay at the university dorms at Dorm 17, which was really nice. Definitely exceeded my expectations, I thought that there might be a small chance that NSC was actually fake but it wasn’t!

I chose the China immersion program for my son because he had two years of high school Mandarin and he really wanted to up it and talk to the people and be part of the culture. It seemed like Next Step China would definitely grant us all those options and be in the country and have it also be run by an American who then could understand all the things that concerns that an American parent might have.
The accommodations at Next Step China were fantastic really great. Everyone granted us our wishes and things that we needed and the opportunities actually to bring my son over here and be part of his immersion process. Accommodations were rather great; actually, they were large, roomy, clean, and perfect.
Next Step China service is all inclusive, it’s everything, its cellphones,how to navigate the neighborhood, its tips on various places to eat, not to mention the fact that the instructors/ teachers are very good at passing out hints. So the service is fantastic; you can get any information that you want to know.
I just think the overall package from being able to email in the beginning and get response immediately or even a phone call with quick response. I think as a parent you need to know that there is somebody always at the other end willing to take your concerns. I would say the impressive part about it is the homework that Next Step China has done to make it a smooth transition for teens and parents.
Next Step China exceeded my expectations as a parent because we came last year and everything was wonderful in the fact that the accommodations, the instruction, the overall experience was excellent. So were coming back again this year for two weeks.
I already have recommended Next Step China to my friend and to my son’s friends. Because I’m in the airline business and many people I know can travel easily.I recommend their services to others constantly because it’s a great program!
