Fast and Useful

I was able to complete the course within a couple of days. It was very useful. I learnt a lot about ESL tutoring, especially with the online teaching section. It boosted my confidence and added to my preparation process. I like that the e-certificate is instant, and I appreciate the value-for-money. The grammar modules were detailed and a nice refresher of how knowledge that's a ''given'' to us might not be so straightforward or obvious for new learners. I feel better prepared as a new tutor. Thank you.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Go for it.

TESOL experience

This experience was definitely worth it, thank you so much for your hard work.
I didn't know anything about the course before accessing it, however, it didn't fully meet my expectations. I expected more practical information specifically for conducting classes online as a self-employed tutor. Still need to figure this out somewhere else..
Anyway, thank you for the opportunity to build a foundation in teaching English as a secong language.
Hope you have a great day!

Choosing the right online certification course can be a daunting task given the sheer volume of options available today. However, my experience with this specific online TEFL/TESOL course proved to be both highly rewarding and professionally transformative. Designed with a clear, logical progression, the program successfully bridges the gap between complex linguistic theories and practical classroom application. For anyone looking to enter the field of English language teaching, this course stands out as an exceptional training program. The definitive highlight of the entire course was the library of exemplifying videos. In many online programs, theory is delivered through dense blocks of text that leave you wondering how the concepts look in a real classroom. This course solves that problem brilliantly. The videos showcase real, experienced teachers executing live lesson plans with non-native speakers of various age groups and proficiency levels. Seeing methodologies like Task-Based Learning (TBL) and Test-Teach-Test (TTT) put into practice on screen made the abstract concepts instantly digestible. I could observe teacher positioning, board work, concept-checking questions, and student behavior management in real-time. These videos didn’t just illustrate the text; they provided a blueprint for my future teaching career. Beyond the video content, the overall design of the course deserves immense praise. The user interface was intuitive, clean, and entirely glitch-free, which made navigating between modules seamless. The curriculum was meticulously structured, beginning with foundational grammar and phonology before advancing to complex lesson planning, classroom management, and digital teaching tools. Each module built logically upon the previous one, reinforcing key ideas through interactive quizzes and thought-provoking reflection assignments. The pacing was flexible enough to accommodate a busy schedule, yet structured enough to maintain study momentum. Furthermore, the course excels at preparing teachers for the unpredictable nature of real classrooms. The material placed a heavy emphasis on adaptability, teaching me how to read a room and pivot a lesson plan on the fly based on student responses. The practical assignments, which involved drafting detailed lesson plans and choosing appropriate classroom seating layouts, received constructive, personalized feedback from tutor assessors. This human element added immense value to the self-paced online environment. In conclusion, my journey through this course was an incredibly positive and empowering experience. It successfully combines rigorous academic content with high-quality, practical multimedia tools. The amazing classroom videos alone are worth the enrollment fee, as they offer an authentic window into the teaching profession that text alone cannot replicate. Well-designed, deeply engaging, and thoroughly practical, this course has left me feeling confident, prepared, and excited to step into my first English language classroom. I highly recommend it to any aspiring educator.

A lot more than I was expecting

I am honestly surprised about the quality of this course. I found it very up to date, helpful and user-friendly. The lessons are long enough to keep you focused and motivated and I really loved the observation videos, that was by far the most useful tool of the course. You could see in real life what you've been learning. However, as I am an experienced teacher who was only looking for a formal certification, I am unsure whether this course would be helpful for beginners, but it serves as a good teaser to see if they like it.

A Great First Step into Teaching

I completed this TEFL course while living in Taiwan and studying Mandarin, and overall I found it to be a practical introduction to English language teaching.

What I appreciated most was how the course focused on classroom situations rather than just theory. Topics such as lesson planning, classroom management, motivation, teaching speaking, listening, reading and writing skills gave me a solid understanding of what teaching English actually involves.

The quizzes were straightforward, although some questions occasionally reflected the course’s preferred methodology rather than real-world teaching situations. My advice is to pay attention to the course terminology and definitions, especially concepts such as CCQs, TTT, TBL, PPP and classroom management strategies.

One area that could be improved is the consistency of some assessment questions. A few answers felt open to interpretation, which occasionally made it difficult to understand the reasoning behind the correct response.

Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone considering teaching English abroad or online. It provides a strong foundation, especially for people with little or no previous teaching experience, and it helped me better understand both language learning and classroom practice.

Course

I was happy with this course simple and easy to understand. I could complete it in record time. though i was busy with family and work assignments i wanted to travel and teach . It would be a refreshing change from my 10 to 5 job which i have been doing for the past thirty years. I also did not have to devote so much time as my basic skills in English were already strong. I would like to recommend this course to everyone who is interested in teaching English as a vocation and also to people who are interested in travelling

TESOL is COOL

Online courses allow you to learn at your own pace while balancing other responsibilities. And I think that is a good opportunity to study and to find a work from your dreams abroad. This cours is prety simple and well-understanding for person who have never been in college for teachers.
I really liked the video examples of teachers from real classes and analyses of these same classes.
It was interesting to watch how the children responded to a lesson conducted entirely in a foreign language. It was helpful to learn tips and tricks from the videos and notes.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I'm wordering about more information about language and how this information better tell to little students. And of course more video examples - I love it.
Pros
  • Understandable
  • Simple
  • Useful video examples
Cons
  • Little information

Great TEFL Course with Practical Teaching Skills

I recently completed the 120-Hour TESOL certificate course and I’m really glad I did. The course gave me a solid foundation in teaching English, with practical lesson planning, classroom management tips, and useful methodology that I can actually use.

The instructors were supportive and experienced, and the materials were well-organized. I especially appreciated the focus on real classroom situations and different teaching techniques (PPP, TBL, etc.). It definitely boosted my confidence to start teaching.

The only small suggestion would be to add even more observed teaching practice, but overall it was a very worthwhile program. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into English teaching.

Thank you!
