I’ve just passed my 120hr ONLINE TEFL.

It was amazing! I studied all the Units with enthusiasm and motivation. They are useful and well-organized. I’ve been an English teacher since 2007 and I learned a lot from this course. It helped me a lot to understand better many things about teaching and I’ve never thought about those before. The ESA method helps me a lot to plan my lessons and they are more structured with the method that I learned during the course. I also appreciated the huge numbers of games and activities proposed in the Units.

So thanks a lot ITTT team! I feel like my way of teaching is improved and my goals are reached. Many thanks!

I completed the 120 hour no assistance course. Wasn't that impressed.
Some lessons contained filler and some were extremely short, barely enough info to fill a pamphlet. Some lessons were about 15 screens long but they were covering English tenses and these subjects needed the extra just for a basic explanation. I felt there weren't enough examples especially in the more complex lessons.
The number of questions at the end of each unit ranged from 10 - 20. In many cases there were 4 sometimes 5 questions on a particular item where the answers were abcd or adcb or acdb. None of them were aace or ccbb. So if you got one wrong you automatically got 2 wrong. Some questions harked back to previous lessons.
There are only 2 videos provided in this course, used to answer questions in units 10 and 11. I didn't use any guidance, practice teaching and I don't need the job assistance so I haven't commented. Replies to questions were answered quickly. There don't appear to be a huge number of resources for fledgling teachers.
You are only taught a single teaching method. It utilises 3 phases, Engage, Study, and Activate. There is no mention of newer methods such as class/lesson flipping or gamification. Some of the material seems a little dated.
Finally, a pass of only 75% is needed. You get exactly the same certificate for a 95% pass as you would for a 75% pass so there is no need to bust your ass if you just want the certificate. There apparently is an accompanying letter which will assign a grade of A, B or C automatically. I asked for my % to be put on my certificate or covering letter but the response was that it wasn't something they offered. Certificates and letters are printed automatically.I couldn't even get a 2 line letter on their letterhead to say what score I actually got instead of just A B C.
In summary they deliver exactly what they say and nothing more. The course could be completed with a bit of effort in 3-4 weeks, less for some people. Ask for a sample lesson before you commit to the course.I'd recommend the course if you just want a certificate as soon as possible otherwise it's 50-50 from me. You can get a free short course if you leave a video review after completion and a moderator approves it. I elected not to do this.

I took the Online course without the need of a tutor. Unfortunately I would not advise this course or company to others. The course information given was far too simple and vague. So simple you are able to pass the tests with no problem but so vague that it doesn’t give you detailed information needed to write proper lesson plans or to really teach in a class room. When I reached several questions that clearly had errors or where to vague to understand, I reached out to the company for answers and was only told to pay for a tutor. Once I arrived to the lesson plan final I wrote one based off of the information provided to me through the course. Unfortunately I was told that it was wrong and to do it over. Needless to say I stressed and stressed about with no real help or clear guidance from the company. With the help of a friend who has been teacher for year abroad, she taught me to write a proper lesson plan. I was granted a certificate but the last letter of my name was spelled wrong. I ask for the correction and was told I would have to pay $25 - $85 dollars to have it corrected with a “it’s not my job” type of attitude and policy. “We don’t crossed check names.” Thank for the poor customer service. The price was the cheapest was the course was the cheapest at the time so I signed up. Now I see why it’s cheap. Definitely a disgusting, discouraged and angry customer.

This company was helpful from the start, and still is, ten years later with their follow-ups. The tutor assigned to you guides you and does not cut corners. I am glad I took this course. You get good feedback from the tutor. Unfortunately, because I too this course about ten years ago, I cannot remember the details. What I would say is, if you are thinking of teaching English, get some training in teaching English to non-natives. It does not hurt the opportunities that can open up for you. ITTT was reasonable and offers various types of classes and options. One is to study with or without a tutor, online and/or in-class. Iopted for online with a tutor, this choice was because of my location and also because I was employed full-time. I hope my limited information is helpful.

It was only 4 short weeks, but I don’t think ever learned so much in so little time. This TEFL course was intensive, but it was engaging and fun throughout. We were guided each step of the way.

For me, the heart and soul of the training part of the program were the observed teaching practices. But before we even stepped into a classroom, we had to learn how to formulate a professional lesson plan. That included defining learner objectives, teacher aims, and complete lesson procedure under the ESA methodology, which we were taught beforehand.

And before I was given feedback for the trainers, I was asked to complete a self-evaluation form. After that, I got detailed feedback on my teaching session. That’s was a key component in the development of my teaching skills.

I was always given a challenge for my next class—in areas the trainers thought I still needed to work on. The bottom line is that I’m now ready to step into any classroom and successfully teach English.

Equally good was the superb help Vantage provided on securing me a teaching position. They have a separate “Jobs Coach” trainer who sat with me and we created my own individual Power Resume and cover letter. The class was coached on interviewing skills and then we had access into Vantage’s network of schools and recruiting services.

All of us had interviews arrange the last week of the course and I accepted a great teaching job with a week of graduation. I also watch the Jobs Coach help alums who already completed their first year of teaching but wanted assistance in new job placements.

If you want a career in teaching—and access to some of the best teaching positions in Thailand—this is your team.

I highly recommend the TEFL Tokyo program. The instructors (Laurence and Dave) are amazing and full of passion for what they do. The course exceeded my expectations, and I am so happy I decided to complete the program in Tokyo. Native English speakers should not assume the program is easy - because it's not. The 4-week program is full of practical content and teaching opportunities, so be ready to immerse yourself in a new way of learning how to teach English. The school is located in a wonderful part of Tokyo, and there are so many things to do within a 30-minute train ride. I really enjoyed every second of the program and would not change a thing. If you're willing to put in the work, you won't be disappointed. Learn from some of the best instructors, and enjoy teaching English to local
children and adults.

I decided to do it right the first time by getting TEFL certified by the best. So as of Feb 2019, I am TEFL Certified by ITTT through their online course. The course material and content was thorough and up to standard. The resources and support during and after the course are second to none; not to mention the wide range of courses to select from and unbeatable rates. To top it off, you get access to lesson plans and other cool platforms. I have no qualms about doing my next course with them and won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to start off well as an ESL Teacher or to further their studies.

It was an amazing journey completing the 120 hour online TEFL course with ITTT. With well defined instructions and assistance, the course was actually a success!
I found lessons to be perfectly designed in such a way that it keeps the learners interested throughout the course. And when talking about the support system, I couldn’t be more impressed! Apart of FAQs and details, online support is also very effective and quick in assisting all types of queries and doubts. Which helped me in completing the course successfully in a short period of time, that too with a score of 93% . Inspite of having teaching experience in abroad, I learned so many teaching skills and techniques that I wasn’t aware of. So, I am actually happy that I opted this course! And I look forward to a brighter and fun filled teaching journey!

I chose the ITTT 220-hour online Master Package course, which includes the 120-hour TEFL Certification Course, 50-hour course in Business English as well as as 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners. It was a wonderful course which provided me with remarkable knowledge in regards to English teaching, methods, materials and techniques. It was aslo a great balance between the knowledge I had already had and new ideas. All materials were very clear, precise and eye-opening and as a non-professional English teacher, I believe this course greatly inspired me and urged me to embark smoothly on my adventure. Besides this, I would like to stress the assistance I received by the staff whenever I faced some difficulties along the course. I highly reccommend it to everyone!
