I was a solo traveller on the Vietnam Intro 12 day tour…and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I was a little apprehensive as I’d never travelled alone before, yet I couldn’t have felt less solo. I met a group of people that I feel like I’ve known for years.

Beautiful country, amazing experiences and incredible accommodation.

We couldn’t have been more looked after by Meg, our tour leader. She is super bright and passionate about Vietnam and Vietnamese culture, whilst also making everyone feel included and ensured they were having a great time.

The trip takes you to many historical locations within Vietnam, and includes many unique experiences such as mud fishing and Vietnamese cooking. Our organiser Meg was very helpful and provided support and advice whenever needed. Meg was also really friendly and had a great sense of humour, which added to the experience. All potential issues on the trip, e.g. weather disruption, where dealt with very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore Vietnam.

Meg was the most amazing group leader we could ever asked for. Meg is knowledgable , caring, organised and so thoughtful. I struggled a lot with my sleep with the jet lag and Meg went above and beyond to make sure I was OK. Each individual member she looked after so personally. I felt completely safe at all times with Meg and her knowledge and advice was amazing. She is an absolute credit to Intro. I cannot fault a single thing. Thank you so much Meg and intro !! Already booked my next intro tour.

I had such a brilliant Vietnam trip as part of the epic age of 40 days.

Megan Elliott was such a brilliant host who was brilliant at organising and fun, so you could really relaxing to the group and your holiday!

It wasn’t the sunniest of trip but that didn’t seem to even matter and we had such a brilliant time at every activity.

I think the only downside was the free time was never quite long enough so a few extra days of the trip for more free time would be brilliant.

But over all I really recommend the Vietnam trip and hope you get Megan as your tour leader!

I strongly recommend anyone considering exploring Vietnam, to partake in the 12 day Vietnam intro tour.

The 12 day tour is jam packed with heaps of fun activities each day, and the flexibility of having ‘free time’ at times, allowed for a more personalised holiday. As a first time solo traveller, this tour provided me the opportunity to explore a country without the fear of being ‘alone/lost’ as I had the company of new friends and a great group leader. The 12 day tour has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the Vietnamese culture through the engaging experiences throughout the tour, and through the knowledge of our group leader. My most memorable moments of the tour involve the home stay experiences, the overnight Halong bay cruise, and activities such as lantern making and basket cat fishing

Our group leader, Meg, was an amazing group leader and any new and upcoming groups will be lucky to have her! Her friendliness and bubbly personality throughout the trip added to the overall experience of the tour. Meg was able to answer any questions I had throughout the tour, and always made an effort to ensure my experience and others was enjoyable. Thank you heaps Meg!

I just finished the Philippines tour and I cannot recommend it enough!!! Marek and Kyle were my leaders and they were amazing and super helpful. Everything was organised for us which made everything feel relaxed. The 3 day boat trip was a lot of fun and the food was incredible, stopping at different islands and even visiting a local school to experience the culture! I will definitely be booking more tours with intro in the future!!! Thank you Marek and Kyle for making great memories with us :)))

Adam Donovan was amazing group leader with great cultural knowledge of the area.
He was very supportive and had a good sense of humour.

Every minute of the trip was heaps of fun, even with the sudden change in weather conditions.

I loved Sapa, Ninh Binh, Hoi An and Mekong Delta.
The home stays were especially unique, with getting to meet the families and seeing their way of living.
Then having the contrast of the glamour hotels with a spa and pool was a nice inclusion.
I would definitely do another intro travel tour, loved the people and small group environment.

Adam donovon honestly was the best trip leader. Your missing out if you don't get Adam. He was super helpful. Always up for a good laugh. The trip itself was amazing your busy but not to busy. Would highly recommend the vietam experience. You don't want to miss out on sapa. Trekking honestly was so much fun. Remember to bring a backpack your going to need it. Even if it rains in your trip just soilder on. The activities even in the rain are super fun! Make sure after you catch the fish that you have a mud fight. It so much fun and it just brings a whole heap of laughs

Amazing group of people we explored so many places, did some great excursions and activities (crafts too), very pleased with how much of Vietnam we got to do in 12 days.

Only thing “down time” to explore the city never very long in any of the locations. But i do understand when we are doing so many cities in so many days.

Really great way to meet people and great if you’re a solo traveller but not really done it before, as at least you can just enjoy and not have to think too much about accommodation/travel days etc!

I really enjoyed the intro travel Vietnam 12 day tour. Adam our leader was fab and was always making sure to check on us and see how we were doing. The tour was well organised on the ground and I felt that I got to do a good amount of fun activities and meet lots of other lovely people on my tour. I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to explore the world but is unsure about going completely alone. There was a good mixture of ages on the tour too which was really nice as well. I really enjoyed the trip to the Mekong delta with the homestay.
