I had the best time ever on the Intro Japan tour and got to experience Japan with the best group. I got to tick everything off my Japan bucket list in seeing some epic nature, tasting the many Japanese cuisines, arcades and my most favourite was the samurai class where I wielded a 400 year old sword.

The accommodation was exceptional and great value for money. We stay at many different types from a capsule hostel, hotels and a Ryokan which is traditional Japanese inn and has its own Onsen!

The difference places we go to on the tour make you feel you've seen all the different sides of Japan from the futuristic cities to the natural parts.

Our guide Nathan welcomed me at our first accommodation, making me feel comfortable instantly. He also navigated us throughout Japan without fault and safely as well as showing us a great time!

I didn't know what to expect when joining the tour as it was my first tour. Now I've done it, it was definitely the right decision and a great introduction to Japan. INTRO have done a super job getting a balance between culture, activities, food, meeting locals and FREE TIME! Free time was very important for me as there were things I wanted to see on my own in certain cities and this tour allows that as well as doing group activities.

We also done things which I would of never done myself if I travelled Japan such as seeing the Snow Monkeys and Sushi Making class which ended up being my highlights!

I will definitely be travelling with INTRO again and thank you for giving me a holiday of lifetime!

Great tour in Japan! Adam showed us some real highlights of Japan, felt like we saw so much in just over 2 weeks. Kyoto was a beautiful city, definitely my favourite with all the temples and culture. The food is incredible everywhere, and we went to so many different types of restaurants that we got to try all of the best Japanese food – you can’t beat the sushi, but the Ramen was so good as well! Watching the monkeys play in the snow up in Nagano was also a special moment that I won’t forget. Thanks for the great tour, would definitely recommend!

Initially started out on the 9 day tour but Kyle the tour leader was so warm and welcoming, combined with the fantastic fellow tour members who have become lifelong friends, I just had to extend on to the 12 days. Going as a solo traveller for the first time, everyone was so welcoming and approachable. I feel like everyone gelled and we went from strangers on day 1 to practically becoming family towards the end. Kyle our leader was on hand to sort out any issues and answer any questions, and you'll be lucky to be on his tour! Just watch out for his infectious dance moves!

My trip to Thailand thru intro travel was amazing, from my pickup at the airport to my drop off at the airport, it was the most amazing 18 days. Between the sights and activities there was never a full moment and the group I traveled with was just as awesome. I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see the best of Thailand! The highlights of this trip are the temples, kosan road, and the nightlife. Lots of time to wander on your own, plus lots of activities with the group. Never a full moment in thailand

What a fantastic 9 days I had exploring Sydney with a fantastic leader, Tom! From the get home he calmed your nerves and even when you left for your onward travels! The first week was so fun and exciting from the jet boating to the good nights out Tom never failed to get everyone involved even with the big group we had, if you get Tom as a leader your in for a really good time! If you had any question even after the trip had ended he was right there answering it and putting your thoughts at ease!

I booked the Thai intro 18 day tour and it was an experience and a half. From the moment we landed to the moment I left it was an amazing experience. The activities were a blast, and the transportation was just as cool, from Tuk Tuks to Ferry's, from temples to floating cottages, Thailand was amazing, and had an awesome tour guide to show me around. The staff made my experience that much more personal, as he was always there when we needed somthing and always up for a party. It will be an experience I will never forget.

Take me back to Japan. If I could do the tour all over again I would. It was everything I wanted from a tour in Japan plus more.

The tour had the best parts of Japan I wanted to.see which included an insight into the culture, taste the different delicious Japanese cuisines and experiencing the scenery you see in the adverts. The main experience which stood out for me and something I wouldn't of done if I organised this was our temple stay in Koyasan where we got insight into the spiritual side of Japan. We stayed in an 1000 year old temple and got experience the daily life of a monk in Koyasan such as doing a meditation class and seeing their prayer ceremony.

The accommodation was better than I expected with my favourite being the Ryokan we stayed in Nagano.

Finally thank you Nathan our tour guide for being informative, always ready to help and showing us the best of Japan.

It can be quite complicated trying to book travel plans for somewhere half the world away, especially if you are travelling solo as you are unsure of where the best areas are and what activities you can do. Fortunately for me I was introduced to Intro Travel when I moved to Australia for a year so when my visa expired and I wanted to do more travelling I knew Intro Travel was the best place to start.

The Intro Travel website breaks everything down perfectly so that you know what the pricing is as well as what you will be doing every day. Having a full itinerary there for you is perfect so that you do not need to do any planning, the Intro Travel team does it all for you.

I booked the 12 day Bali Intro trip and from the point of booking, you are in contact with the Intro team to help get everything sorted before you even land in the country. Our group leader Craig Hewitt got in touch with us on the Facebook page and we were able to start a group chat so you can get to know the people on your tour before you even meet. They also take all of your flight details and pick you up at the airport. Considering this was my first time in Asia this put me at ease when flying in to the country as there was somebody waiting at arrivals with a huge Intro Travel sign!

From that point onwards you genuinely do not need to worry about a thing. On day 1 Craig got us all together to discuss in detail exactly what was happening on each day and where we would be and what activities we would be doing. The group leaders are there to make sure everybody gets to know each other and have a good time.

The accommodation and food on the trip are excellent and they are of a massively high standard. One thing in particular that stood out for me was the privately owned Villa in Lovina, it was absolutely stunning and a great place for some chill time with the rest of the group.

A few highlights of the trip for me would be the surfing, snorkelling and the volcano trek. These are things that many people do not get to experience so to get to do these things in such a beautiful country was an experience I will never forget! The volcano trek especially, it may be an early rise and a tiring experience but you will not regret it when you see the sunrise at the top, and the fact that there is a massage waiting on you when you get back to your hotel makes it even more worthwhile.

The culture of Bali is something that you need to dive into as well as Craig took us to the rice paddies, temples and to the monkey sanctuary. These are all places (similar to the activities) that you do not get in many other places so it is great to see how people on the other side of the world live.

One of the most worrying things about any trip is the little details that most people do not think about. This is something that Craig and all the other group leaders make sure you do not have to worry about. The group leaders will tell you where the best places are to get laundry done, where to get a cheap SIM card so you can call home and most importantly they will help you with any medical or personal issues which they are extremely professional about. What makes Intro Travel so special is that the team worries about the things you would never even think of worrying about so that if and when those problems happen you are sorted!

In terms of onward travel when the trip is coming to an end, Craig helped us look in to other Intro holidays where you could pay a deposit of £50 and the trip would be open dated for life. This is a great offer as it doesn’t force you to commit to something but you have the option to use Intro Travel again whenever you like. Craig also helped everyone with further accommodation and transport once the trip ended before we all had to head to our next destination.

I cannot recommend Intro Travel enough after going on Bali and Oz Intro, they take care of everything for you and make sure the only thing you need to worry about is having a good time!

This tour was perfect because it covered so much of Bali in the perfect amount of time. There were so many fun/ cultural activities but also time in the day to do your own activities. Every place we stayed at was beautiful and had good food choices of both local and western food. Our tour guides Candice and Meg were so friendly and made the experience so much more enjoyable! They really made sure to integrate the group and were just always there if we needed anything. I wish I could do it again!
