The best experience for traveling abroad for the first time. Couldn’t have asked for a better group leader (Lauren Barrington) to make the trip even more impactful. 100% recommend intro travel to make abroad travel more manageable and less worrisome!

As this was my first group tour, I didn't know what to expect, but my 15 day Bali experience exceeded all expectations! The variety of excursions and activities was great, from snorkelling with turtles and mantarays to visiting a local family and looking round their spice garden, and everything else in between. The balance between activities and chill time was perfect and I feel like I've seen a lot of what this beautiful country has to offer. Each accommodation was unique and had the level of luxury I was looking for. My experience wouldn't have been what it was without Hendri as our leader - what a guy! His passion and enthusiasm for the job is admirable and his knowledge and expertise meant no question was left unanswered. He was there for us 24/7 and always with a smile on his face. Fun, supportive, caring and an overall fantastic guy.

The Thai 18 day intro tour is up there with the best 18 days of my life. The organisation of the trip meant that we effortlessly travelled round all of the best bits of thailand, building amazing friendships along the way and all facilitated by the fab INTRO team and the especially amazing Group leader we were blessed to have, Loz.

INTRO sort out a wide range of activities to suit everyone’s interests throughout the trip and the travel between places and transfers were all so slick. They have also built a strong rapport with various different local guides who are extremely enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Special shout-out has to go to Lan, the guide who took us through the jungle and to see the elephants in chiang mai - an absolute legend.

Back onto Loz… Straight from the day we arrived, loz was up at the crack of dawn and ready waiting for us to get off the plane with a beaming smile and open arms. Loz organised everything for us down to the last detail and even threw in fun extra games such as ‘human cluedo’ and other extras that really bought the group together. Loz made us all feel extremely safe in this new country and had a clear natural ability as a group tour leader. If one of us was cold, wet or dressed inappropriately for the occasion, Loz would (and on a number of occasions, did) literally give the clothes off her own back to make sure we were okay and comfortable. It was like visiting and being shown round by a great friend that you never knew you had in her home country while she still remained incredibly professional and responsible on the occasions where it was needed. Loz had a recommendation (or 5) for every scenario you could have asked for, enough energy and enthusiasm for a lifetime and I genuinely do not know how she keeps such an encyclopaedic knowledge of various things that we saw and did on the tour - she could answer any of the weird and sometimes obscure questions we threw at her (and sometimes we really did try to throw her off 😂).

Just when it seems like loz’s talents had no limit, loz literally saved my big toe with her first aiding experience in a jiffy and comforted me like an older sister the whole way through when I was being dramatic about it.

The only faults I can really give Loz Is the fact that she has eggs and Nutella on her pancakes and a very questionable choice in trousers. -1 Loz for this 🥴.

Overall the trip was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in doing this trip. As a female solo traveller I felt extremely safe the entire trip and thanks to all of Loz’s efforts, it was quick and easy to make friendships I am sure will last a lifetime. Massive thanks to Loz, Lan and the intro team :)

Kyle was our tour leader who took care of absolutely everything. This made the whole experience so much better as there was nothing to worry about. The tour went so quick but was packed with so many activities which were made better by the amazing group.
If you are a solo traveller or do this as part of a group, you will have the best time. The tour gives your free time to go and do your own thing and meet new people as well as chill and connect with the people in the group.
Once in a lifetime experience which I will definitely be doing again with intro

When I arrived in Bangkok I immediately felt so welcomed by everyone. The trip was just amazing. We had so many wonderful experiences and I would do it al over again in a heartbeat. From cooking class to parties and from elephants to the most amazing beaches. Everything was so well organised. The trip was so efficient and well thought out.

This was mostly because of the best group leader you will ever meet, Loz. She is one of the best people I ever met and took care of everything. You are feeling sick she got a tablet. Need a place to eat, here is a list with recommendations. Do you need a taxi, say no more. She went above and beyond for everyone. But her choices in pancakes are very strange. Maybe someone needs to look into that. If she will ever do a tour in another country please give me a call, because I would be there!

Everything I got to experience on this trip was amazing - the activities, the sights, the accommodation but mainly the people and our group leader Pol! Friends for life the best trip I have ever done! Always felt so safe and looked after while having so much fun at the same time. Learning Muai Thai swimming in phi phi island and meeting elephants at a sanctuary were my highlights of the trip - each day just got better and better. It is perfect for couples, friends and also solo travellers our group was a mix and loved it ! Sad it has ended!

I’d start by saying that Thailand is an amazing country with welcoming citizens and picturesque opportunities to explore nature. So, it’s worth the trip no matter how you go about it. For us, however, going with Intro was a no-brainer. We have never traveled to Asia before, so we wanted a little more guidance. From the moment we booked, we had received correspondence from our group leader, Loz, giving us a basic outline of the trip—what to expect, what to bring, organizing transportation from the airport on arrival, etc. Between her efforts and those from the rest of the Intro team, the rest of our trip was effortless. Our accommodations, transport between places, etc. were all booked. Not to mention, they do a great job varying experiences throughout the 18 days—you take part in cultural experiences (e.g. a Thai cooking class, visiting Buddhist temples, etc.), visit multiple islands, etc. They have longstanding relationships within the various communities we visit, so we get information from local guides/businesses which makes the experience even more authentic. (It is also great to know that the locals personally relay their appreciation of Intro, so it isn’t a system where you feel like the locals are being taken advantage of in any way.) It also helps to have a group leader, like Loz, because throughout each experience, you have someone to go for guidance, handle any unexpected issues that come up (someone had to leave due to an emergency during our trip and Loz found her transport, a new flight, etc all within an hour). In summary, while it may be more costly to travel with Intro, it’s definitely worth it if you are looking for a varied, authentic experience without the stress of needing to do a bunch of planning, etc.!

Having always been quite an anxious person, putting myself in this situation was daunting but the minute we arrived in Bangkok, we were greeted with a smile and some fun facts by Kyle, and we knew then that we were going to have an amazing time.

The experiences and adventures provided to us by Intro were one of a kind and I feel so thankful to have been part of such an amazing time!

We were always kept informed of the plans for the day and help/ advice was provided whenever we needed it.

I’m already looking at next years trip with Intro and I will definitely be recommending to everyone I know :)

Just finished the 12 day Thailand experience and it was absolutely amazing. The amount that you did and the organisation of the tour was second to none. Kyle the group leader was faultless, couldn’t have asked for a better person to take me around Thailand.
Everything from minute one was organised in terms of transportation to meal bookings to parties etc. After the tour finished Kyle sorted onward travel for me in terms of ferry tickets and recommendations on what to do next. Couldn’t recommend more.

Just finished the 12 day Thai intro and it has been an unforgettable experience. I’d never done anything like this tour before and everything was so easy and stress free thanks to our amazing group leader Kyle! Seen some amazing places throughout the tour and enjoyed it so much that I booked Vietnam and Bali with intro before I left. Such a good way to meet new people and I’ve made some incredible friends from this. Would recommend this trip to anyone, for solo travellers, groups of friends and couples.
