I spent nine months in Taipei learning Mandarin from the zero level. I had a great time through and through. Both the staff and the teachers were really nice, fun, and helpful. After morning class, we'd all go out to eat afterward. Sometimes there were activities in the afternoon. There was always something to do so it was never boring. I miss my time their everyday.

Shoutout to Riona, Alin, Greta, Marine, Thomas, Tammy, Sabrina, Sissi, and everyone else there. Too many to list here. Also shoutout to the couch, always good for a nap!

I spent three weeks studying at LTL Language School in Beijing, and it was truly a fantastic and memorable experience.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and supportive. The school is well-organized, with a strong focus not only on effective language learning, but also on building a real sense of community among students from all over the world.

A special thank you to my teacher Carol, who made my learning experience so enjoyable and effective. She was always patient, clear, and encouraging helping me build confidence and make steady progress in Chinese. Her teaching style was both structured and fun, and I’m truly grateful for her guidance.

I also want to thank Ilaria, the International Student Advisor, who was incredibly kind and supportive throughout my time at LTL whose warmth and availability made everyone feel at home.

And of course, a big thank you to Linda Liu, the school director. Whether it was answering questions, organizing activities, or checking in with students, she was always available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and truly dedicated to making sure everyone felt supported and at home.

One of the highlights of studying at LTL was the international student community. It was easy to connect with others and build friendships through group lunches, cultural activities, and exploring Beijing together.

LTL Mandarin School Taipei surpasses all expectations I had. The teachers I had - Sissi and Avril - are incredibly experienced yet humble and earnest. They are patient, and go out of their way to help each student in my group class overcome any blockers in learning Mandarin. Sissi and Avril are adept in accommodating our ad-hoc questions in my group class to satisfy our curiosity, but they also ensure that we don't veer off course too often, so that we stay on course in completing our syllabus.

In addition, LTL school administrators organise many casual get-together events during the week. These events can be as simple as lunch outings in the neighbourhood (both delicious and affordably priced!) or something as stimulating as a traditional Chinese seal engraving session at the end of the day.

These impromptu events serve an important purpose in creating a friendly atmosphere for the school, and also allow us to practice speaking Mandarin together.

I highly recommend LTL Mandarin School Taipei to anyone of any age who is interested in picking up Mandarin in a friendly, sociable environment, with experienced and warm teachers who will tailor the classes to fit your learning style.

Special praise for my two teachers: Ray and WeiWei. Ray with one to one instruction and group, Wei Wei with group instruction only. Both unique in delivering understanding and explanation and both highly able.step by step instruction, for beginners and gradually increasing level of learning together with understanding. Both Wei Wei and Ray are extremely patient and I always felt comfortable when I did not know the answer or when I required some sort of explanation I definitely recommend and most probably will return to study Chinese language with LTL

I had such a great time learning at LTL Mandarin School in Shanghai. It was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Before I went, I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. I had never studied in another country before, and I wasn’t sure if the classes would be too hard. But after just a few days, I realized I had nothing to worry about. Everyone at the school was really friendly, and the teachers made learning Mandarin so much easier than I thought it would be.

My teachers were Jamie and Anne, and they were both amazing. They were always so kind and patient with me. Sometimes I got confused or forgot words, but they never got annoyed. Instead, they explained things again and again until I understood. That really helped me feel more confident, because I didn’t feel scared to make mistakes. The way they taught was also super fun. We didn’t just sit in class reading from a textbook the whole time. We actually practiced real conversations that I could use in daily life. For example, they showed us how to order food at a restaurant, how to ask for directions, and how to buy things at a shop.

The classrooms at LTL were also really nice. They were always clean, bright, and comfortable.

One of the best parts of studying there was meeting other students. There were people from all over the world, and we all had the same goal of learning Mandarin. It was fun to practice together and help each other out. I also made some new friends who I still keep in touch with.

Looking back, I’m really happy I decided to study at LTL Mandarin School in Shanghai. Not only did my Chinese improve a lot, but I also got to experience living in an amazing city, meeting new people, and learning in a really positive environment. If anyone is thinking about studying Mandarin, I would definitely recommend this school.

The LTL school is really a great school for people to learn Chinese; their learning methods are very efficient to learn fast, basic words and sentences for everyday life. The ambience with the other students was great, and the teachers where very kind while giving good Chinese lessons. The school location is also easily accessible by metro and some restaurants and supermarkets can be found below the school’s building. I was in the teenage group, and every afternoon there were organised visits to all the major tourist sites in and around Beijing, as well as other cultural activities. It was very well organised, well supervised and very interesting. The host family was lovely, very pleasant, and I was very well looked after. What's more, even though they spoke English, discussions were often in Chinese, which allowed me to improve my level even further.

It was a very nice experience at this school, I really recommend it.

I and my sister had studied Chinese at LTL Chengdu for 5 weeks and had a great time! The staff at LTL Chengdu were very nice and friendly. I got to meet Chinese learners from multiple nations. Also, It was great learning Chinese from Ying laoshi. She was enthusiastic, patient and very knowledgeable about Chengdu. The building which LTL Chengdu is located at is very nice. It has a gym, study center and coffee shop which you can go to after class. It’s also only a few minutes away from IFS Chengdu. Would recommend learning Chinese at LTL Chengdu.
