Summer Study & Immersion Program in Provence, France

The experience of a lifetime awaits you in Provence. The Barat Foundation Summer Program provides a unique opportunity for total immersion in French language and culture. The sun-drenched region will serve as your backyard and classroom. You will explore the wonders of Provence while speaking French with a talented young staff, hand-picked from French arts and academia.

You will be living in Provence not as a tourist, but as a local - attending the spectacular summer festivals, visiting Van Gogh’s city of Arles, and shopping at colorful open-air markets. You will visit the Camargue nature preserve and sun bathe along the shores of the Mediterranean. At the end of the day, you can linger at an open-air café or venture home to hang with new friends.

Your stay in Provence finds you staying with other students at a country estate, complete with an outdoor swimming pool. Our teachers will introduce you to France-- its language, culture, history and art.
