Winter Med Shadowing Abroad – Greece Awaits Future Physicians

What an experience! Watching surgeries like laparoscopic gallbladder removals was incredible. You can’t get this kind of learning in a classroom! Stavros was a total legend, always there for support. The Buddy tour was awesome – we all became fast friends. And don’t even get me started on Meteora – one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Larissa is so chill, safe, and has so many great spots to eat. The accommodation was perfect – felt like a second home. Definitely worth it. Don't think it twice.

This Philotimo Med program is a must-do if you want to dive deep into the medical world. I got to observe surgeries like tonsillectomies and complex fracture repairs. It was amazing to see it all firsthand. Stavros was super helpful throughout, and the Buggy tour made me feel at ease right away. The excursions were so fun, especially the Meteora trip – beautiful memories. Larissa is such a cozy safe city, full of great restaurants and easy to explore. The accommodation was super comfy and welcoming – I honestly felt at home.

It’s one thing reading about them in books, but watching them in person is another level. The team, especially Stavros, was always available for support. The excursions, especially Meteora, were beyond my expectations. Larissa itself is a hidden gem – it’s super safe and feels like home, with tons of restaurants to try. The accommodation was super comfy and spacious – felt like I was in my own apartment.
