About Program

10-day educational program based in Tarapoto, Peru, the heart of the Upper Amazon. We will be exploring the traditional medicine and culture of indigenous communities. During those days, we will be studying the indigenous flora and their medicinal properties. Our group will meet and learn from herbalists, midwives, bonesetters, and spiritual healers.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from local experts about the identification, and application of medicinal plants. We've planned the itinerary to be a learning adventure that excites your senses and makes you curious to learn more. You'll have chances to discover their ancient methods and explore how we can use them in our daily lives and modern healthcare. The expedition will feature talks, workshops, tours, and discussions.

We think it's important to include local communities in our educational activities so we can all learn from each other and have meaningful interactions.
