Lisbon's amazing mix of influences--from its Old World roots to its African, Brazilian, Indian, and Asian heritage--make it an amazing city for anyone interested in immersing themselves in foreign culture. Lisbon has it all: the arts, music, food, nightlife, and beaches. Take part in this unique program partnered with the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE) where you can take courses, offered in English, of international business, international relations, as well as Portuguese language courses available through the New University of Lisbon (NOVA).

Popular Programs
Students who choose to study abroad in Lisbon with API complete courses offered in English in international business, international relations, and Portuguese history and culture at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE). Portuguese language courses are also available through the New University of Lisbon (NOVA).
Students who choose to study abroad in Lisbon with API will learn about Portugal’s many major contributions to world history and have the opportunity to brush up on their Portuguese language skills in one of Europe’s up-and-coming “hot” destinations.
Students who choose to study abroad in Lisbon with API during the summer will be able to take international business courses in English in one of Europe’s up-and-coming “hot” destinations. Students select one course per session for 3 semester credits. Students may combine two sessions in order to earn up to 6 credits for their program. The sessions may be combined as follows: sessions 1 and 2, or sessions 2 and 3.
Students who choose to study abroad in Lisbon during the January term with API can complete courses offered in English and Portuguese in international marketing and cross-cultural communications at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE).
